Outfitting/building an Adventure Touring Duke! In this video, I give you a close up, detailed overview of the SW-Motech EVO Engage tank bag fitting on a 2021 KTM 890 Duke.
This bag looks great on the Duke series bikes, and is one of the few tank bangs that follow the same profile lines on the gas tank. This gives the motorcycle a sleek, streamlined look while allowing you to carry your necessities in a convenient, easy to access location. Also there are no magnets and/or straps to worry about as this tank bag uses a tank ring clip on system.

Awesome videos. I’m very excited about this series as I too am thinking about getting an 890R and plan on using it half the time as a longer distance touring machine. You’re the only creator showing this side of the 890.

Thanks! I love the 890 so far. I have a few more vids coming soon as well as an epic long haul trip in the works for the Duke ( like over 10,000 miles/16,000 kms) which should produce some interesting content hopefully :) 🤙

I Bought the KTM Powerparts bag It's 5L-9L Expanded, Might need to see if I can find this bag or a similar sized one for Longer trips (Seems this one is discontinued). On another note get the optional Cruise Control I picked it up for my 890 Duke and wouldn't live without it now.

Yes I do have the cruise control installed already LOL it’s another video coming down the pipe lines once I get past this little busy season I’m in 😁

@@pavechaser Nice, I put about 700km on my Bike without it, then about another 4300km with it wouldn't live without it at this point, wish they would have told me that it was an option when I was buying the bike would have just had it installed before I picked up the bike.

A very useful video, as usual, question: I cannot find the Tank bike on the SW Motech website, I live in France, is this part available worldwide?

Thanks! 🙂 - I believe they usually sell through a distributor/retailer model. If you email them directly (from their website) and ask where you can buy their products in your country, they should be able to point you in the right direction. (I had to email them to get directed to a retailer in Canada to locate and purchase the proper tank ring) - good luck!

I noticed that you have bar end mirrors but have left the original mirror fixing on ? did you know theres a KTM cheap part that deletes the ugly 'stalk '. I have them on my 890GP they look so much better

Yes, I left them there as I actually use them to attach ram mount accessories to such as camera mounts, phone holder and even mug holders for long touring trips!

What type/model of SW Motech tank bag is that? I can not found on SW Motech website, seem discontinued or .. Can you share where I can buy that models?

Yes, unfortunately I believe they have discontinued this tank bag - which is quite unfortunate as it was the perfect shape and design. 😭
