CMC had 2 fumbles in that 3 game losing stretch and in the Cleveland game, purdy lead them down to attempt a game winning fg but rookie kicker missed. In the vikings game, he was having a really good game to start, but he got concussed and he threw 2 back to back picks. The Cincinnati game was the only bad game he had where the defense couldn't get stops and purdy didnt have that many possessions to counter the Bengals offense. This whole time, he didn't have 2 of his top players on his team while his defense was going through a slump.

ESPN continues to wish Dallas & Phili were more of a threat than the San Francisco 49ers. I can understand Jalen Hurts because hes battled tested. But what has Dak ever done to be trusted late in the season?

Purdy gets dinged for a couple rough games when his teammates were injured. These other QBs are having bad games without people around them being injuredso what does that say about them?

It wasn’t brought up, but Purdy lead his team down the field against the Browns for a potential game winning field goal which the kicker missed. He was also concussed the second half of the Vikings game . Before the concussion, he was having a good game. The only bad game he had was against the Bengals and I don’t think he was as bad as people were portraying. Dak has had bad games, but you can’t deny he’s played some of the best ball of his career. He’s also doing it with less talent on the roster than the 49ers have. People want to bring up that all Dallas has done is beaten terrible teams, then why aren’t these other good teams winning by large margins like the Cowboys? Eagles barely beat the Commanders twice. Dallas won by 30.

Facts are Trent Williams played the complete Browns game yet they say he did not. He got banged up but played 60 of 62 snaps. So he missed the next 2 games. They lost that game by a missed FG. Brock was also 3-0 last season without Deebo so he can win without him.

Everyone wants to dismiss Purdy, because of the talebt around him, but it's not like we didn't see this team without Purdy. This team was led by Jimmy G for a good bit last season, before Purdy got put in it.

As a 49er fan, let me state this. Trent Williams is the most valuable 49er. With him our offensive line is average at best. Without him it's way worse. We have depth at almost every other position but Trent is irreplaceable. All they can say at this point to dis Purdy is what he didn't do when he was missing Trent and Deebo. Now, it's debatable how bad he actually looked vs the Browns and Vikings (no question about the Bengals game being bad) but the real issue is: he isn't missing Trent and Deebo now. I honestly think it's hilarious watching the hoops some of these guys jump thru to discredit Purdy. Dude has literally had the best start to an NFL career that any QB has ever had. I see no reason why he won't continue to ball out like this.

Funny how Swagu and mad dog got so mad at each other when they both wrong. Purdy clearly been the best this year he destroyed both of them and beat multiple playoff teams by 10 plus points. If you wanna give the three game losing streak, at least those losses were to teams that are all currently in the playoffs. Eagles lost to jets and seahawks who the niners beat by double digits twice cowboys lost to the freaking cardinals which 49ers also beat by double disgust twice. Those 3 games, 1 had kicker missed 41 yards GWF. Others hsd CMC fumbles twice in redzone. Vikings game had Purdy concussed and he had to be in protocol later in the week. And Hurts plays medicore with AJ Brown, D.Smith & Swift healthy. And it wasn't just for these recent 3 games. Philly was 3 plsys away from being 7-7 teams.

The 3 game losing streak was not on Purdy. He led them on a drive against the browns and Moody missed the kick. Then he played the next two with a concussion and I’m guessing if your processing speed is your most lethal weapon, a concussion does not help you to read defenses any quicker. Plus, the defense couldn’t buy a stop against Burrow or Cousins for stretches of each games.

Problem with this debate is crediting team wins as a quarterback stat. In the three games 49ers lost, one of them Purdy led the team to a game-winning drive but the kicker missed the game-winning FG. Purdy suffered a concussion against MIN and the defense collapsed, with Wilks calling a zero blitz with no time on the clock (just needed to play prevent). Purdy played well against Cincy but the defense was bad then too.
