Swami Vivekananda (1863-1902) and Rabindranath Tagore (1861-1941) were more or less contemporaries. Rabindranath Tagore and Gandhi may agree on spiritual issues with Swami Vivekananda. To Tagore, Gandhi was a Mahatma. However, in the political plane the three had huge differences. Tagore sharply differed from the religious nationalism of Swami Vivekananda and the nationalism of Gandhi. The proof of the puddings in the eating. The followers of the rationalist Tagore were intellectually at loggerheads with those of Swami Vivekananda even during life time of the former. Today, not even a single admirer of Swami Vivekananda will whole heartedly approve of Gandhi and to them Jawaharlal Nehru the chosen man of Gandhi is an anathema.

Professor, u knew philosophy isn't taught by govt. School & college but all religious monastery education institutions have philosophy course. But thats all used to keep their ideology. Kanchi monastery has nyaya philosophy school in their colleges.
