Very near to where I live..Berlin is a strange city with so many lakes , water ways + forests. These swans are akin to local celebrities for many .I had gone to check on the coots ( still not hatched ) but was honoured by these.I take coffee with me and right now have such . Sorry to hear that Michael . One of these did look somewhat tiny and couldn't keep up when 1st hatched Hence I think chances are it is the one that died . I see them each year and a few times close up. Fngers crossed for those at your park and these here ..4 is still a good number .Greetings , Helena
