Given that in a *modern* car (with stock engine) the difference between having a 100kg total driver and passenger and a 150kg total driver and passenger is very noticeable on the suspension, having 330kg of extra engine certainly will make a difference.....
Looking at it that way, true. But the simple fact is, 330 extra kg over those 2 little tiny tyres is a LOT of extra mass.... Certainly WAY over the safe loading limit of the tyres. That car would have a max payload of around 250kg. Therefore the engine would make it overweight even with NO driver and NO fuel!
that would be pretty funny if they went that route lol. I still think if they went this far with it make it into an off road beast! put some military axles on it and big off road tires it'll go anywhere they put it!
They're not necessarily Soviet era. The 2104, 2105, 2106 and 2107 were made well into the 2000's, and even a mid-2000's car might look like it's 30-40 years old.

Rotary into Corvette? Loads of vids, over a month of work, everything seems to be a trouble. 7 litre ZIŁ engine into lada? One video and engine installed, wired up and fired up in the car. Russians are engineering gods.

what madness! with that engine it is not necessary to lower the suspension. I would put the battery in the trunk so that the weight distribution is 50%. And I would also make a small hole in the hood lid or it will not close. 😂😂
