I really enjoyed watching this. I have taken the train past that stretch many times, and one day I will be walking there myself 🙂 The signposting is not always good along the SWCP, and then I rely on either OS maps which I have downloaded for offline use, or also Komoot app where I have made traces of the walks before I go. Then I quickly know for sure if I am on the right path🙂

Hey Paul. I think I started this leg July 9th. To be honest I found south Devon so much easier on the whole and with so many towns on route I really wasn’t carrying much food or drink so my pack was much lighter. Kingswear to Berry head was the hardest part, also out of Sidmouth was tough but I really enjoy the trail in south Devon. I was supposed to be back this week to finish the trail but decided I wanted to save it for next year. Just not ready for it to be over yet lol.
