I love Sue’s calm and slow approach to teaching the patters. I’m familiar with most of the stitches but that doesn’t bother me. Most people talk too fast and crochet too fast that it annoys me. Only critique I find is that the camera work could use a little tweaking. Love the blanket. 👍🏻

Sue Rawlinson - This project has been so exciting, and excellent for beginners like me. We learnt so many new stitches in the first week and I didn't find any of them difficult (after I had taken on board comments from other members - stitch markers are the way to go!). My QUESTION is that on the paper sleeve of the yarn it says 'wash dark colours separately'. There is a band of dark green next to a band of cream on the blanket - will this be safe at 30 degrees, perhaps with a sheet of colour catcher? I would be heartbroken if my blanket was ruined in the wash. x

How many grams of each colour do we need for the blanket? You said there are 10 colours & a couple extra of the cream, but a supply list with real amounts would be really helpful. I looked on the website & downloaded the pattern introduction, but it's not clearly stated there either. I have lots of partial balls of Bonus DK leftover from other projects & I would love to be able to use some of them up in this blanket. Thanks!

Hi there, you need 3 x balls of 100g of Cream (812), 1 x 100g Deep Rose (616), 1 x 100g Frost Blue (608), 1 x 100g Vanilla (594), 1 x 100g Grass (825), 1 x 100g Petal Pink (585), 1 x 100g Gentle Jade (604), 1 x 100g Cerise (984), 1 x 100g Light Grey (814), 1 x 100g Ice Blue (730) ⁠- hope this helps

is there a list of materials? I cant even order the yarn (maybe because Im in the U.S.) Also is it possible to make it larger?

We do ship to the US but alternatively you can find a stockist here: sirdar.com/en/find-store - Sue has carefully designed the blanket, but you may be able to add a few more stitches to the rows to increase it's size but we'd recommend sticking to the original design to avoid any mishaps
