On the app, choose point by point instead of point by point+ Under "Score Tracking" when recording matches. That will make it to where you only have to swipe to keep score, without the additional selection of point type. Soon they will release an auto-score feature, which will input the score automatically after your match, without keep track point by point. Cheers
Hey Andrey! Good review. I learned and confirmed the app tracks average speed over the flight of the ball, no adjustment or anything. Just distance divided by time. The distance is computed with the distance from where you hit from the where the bounce landed. The time is calculated using the frame when the ball bounced minus the frame when contacts the racket. Radar guns measure the ball speed right after contact, which will be faster of course than the average flight speed. The discrepancy between max and average is bigger with faster shots like serves. It would be amazing if you can play with a radar gun and log the difference between the gun speed (max) and the app speed (avg.) Because the physics is so hard to compute, a chart to estimate the difference would be really handy.
Oh, and the position, location, contact frame and bounce frame are all editable, so if a speed is way off, if you manually correct those data points it’ll come back to reality.
