You've made the clearest and most comprehensive tutorial videos on this topic I've found on the internet. Thanks for what you do, man, and for serving this community so well! I hope you're bringing in decent revenue from this :)
When ever I want to jailbreak something or what ever you always have a video about it. You’re a straight up legend! You explain everything so well, which leaves all the questions and nothing can go wrong if they follow ur tutorials.
Just watched Episode 1 and on to this one. You are by far the best channel I've watched for this subject. You explain things very well, easy to understand and a good pace of wording. Thank you so much man good job!
@Armando Lopez my discord is Superkidxl2099#7685, I recommend using discord because it’s more advanced than RU-vid’s comment section, but when you join I’ll help you back up your atmosphere back ups just in case anything goes wrong make sure to friend me
Very informative, obvs for educational purposes... Thanks for your time in making & uploading the video for us all.... My lad will be over the moon tomoz morning.... Thanks man 🙏🏼👊🏼
@@jedunboxing4127 I’m not sure exactly what a chip is, the only thing I used to get into atmosphere was the RCM jig. I made diy ones too, it was very very easy.
I've been waiting on this with such high anticipation lol thank you so much. Great work. Your first video worked flawlessly. Best RU-vidr for this shit hands down.
Are you a flat earther? I looked through your playlist and saw a flat earth video. I'm not a stalker I swear, but I'd love to have an argument if you are xD
@@connorbaker1716 ikr, like life isnt hard enough, then there is overpricing games from nintendo like they dont make enough money from theese games not to mention online membership like c'mon first i pay for game then i hsve to pay for subscription to play with others online? Its bull'shit
press f12 and click the 'console' tab, then paste $(".transparent").css("opacity",1);$("#loader-container").hide(); and press enter. Had the same issue and found this link www.reddit.com/r/Bit_Chute/comments/ccwftf/cant_view_any_videos/
man i been stressing and looking at so many idiots videos until i found you , you mae it work and explaoined how to do this how to install and play games and that you need the sigpatches
quick question: is the game fully installed so that if you don't boot up the switch in homebrew mode its still there, or is the game only playable while in homebrew mode
@@kangerer8886 i decided to not mod my switch since online play is why i play it alot in the first game ill just bite the bullet and buy the switch games
If you are using the unpatched method you will have to do this every restart. As the CFW is injected on launch and the software on the device is not altered it will be lost and revert back to the normal switch OS on restart.
Thanks for the guide, works great since I was able to dump my Pokémon Sword game and play it without the card. Out of curiosity, is there any way to play NSP games through hekate rather than fusee?
thank you so much!!! i was in a lot of trouble, i had bought animal crossing new horizons and wanted to mod it, but like the idiot i am, i didnt back up my games!!! luckily, you saved me with this tutorial! now i can play animal crossing and vibe hard haha
When you fully power down the switch and it launches back into official firmware and go online will you be safe (or as safe as you can be) from bans? Or do I need to use my nand backup and then go online?
Hey! Where can I watch ep 1? It must’ve been taken down or something :/ it’s just I keep getting my games corrupted and you’re the only person that’s mentioned that error in a tutorial.
Hi, i just found your channel and I’m very impressed and thankful to say the least. I’ve been thinking about buying a switch to jailbreak but I noticed the switch tut #1 is removed from I’m guessing a Nintendo copyright claim. Is there a way I can watch it through an unlisted link? Or another way I can find out how to find a good switch to jailbreak? Thank you !!
I haven't had a chance to start watching this yet. Just a question. Since Switch has no multiplayer. I was looking at NXMP application that could play audio and video. But I understand it would have to be installed manually from SD. Would I need to do any modifications to the Switch to be able to installed that? Or does Switch natively have the capability of manually installing applications. I work on PCs, and do not own a Switch as of yet.
check offerup/craigslist ! I was able to get an older switch for $220 with 2 games and all the original accessories, so I just sold all of that (breath of the wild, skyrim, the dock, and the charger) and ended up basically getting the switch itself for about $90.
@@mustang66312 The version the switch is on doesn't matter, CFW can still be installed even on 9.1.0. What determines if you can install CFW is if your switch is patched by nintendo or not, which you can tell by the serial number. If you use the website I linked earlier or google "switch patched serial numbers" you should be able to find out if yours is compatible or not. nh-server.github.io/switch-guide/user_guide/getting_started/ Here's a guide that provides all the links and information you'll need to install CFW onto your switch if you switch is eligible. The information he gives here about installing games is still completely accurate.
Okay i wanna do this but does anyone knoe if i can get the nsp files from games i already have , physical game, that i use on my new , unhacked console.?
What happened to the first video? Also, around the 8:00 mark, you said not to jailbreak using haketa, and to use fuse primary? Is this still true? I just watched a video on jailbreaking using Haketa and now wondering if i should still use it. I really just want games. Edit: just noticed the link to it in the description. But anyway, so using Haketa isn't what I should do if i want games?
Hey modded warfare I have a simple question to ask! I was watching your first episode on jailbreaking the switch and changing dns codes to prevent being banned if a third party application was to crash and having the error to be reported directly to Nintendo... Would I be able to change the dns settings back to automatic and be able to play online again?? And even with backed up games? Or will that send another log to Nintendo basically letting them know I'm playing a copied game and playing with a modified console?
everytime I install tinfoil and attempt to open it on my switch it gives me an error, Not enough memory to run, I have a 64 gig sd card, I have formated it to both exfat and Fat32 and changed allocation unit sizes multiple times and the same error pops up, any ideas?
nvm for anyone having the same issue, dont open homebrew from album, do so by holding r and opening a randomm game, make sure to not let go of r even when the game has opeend or you need to select a user. This will let homebrew apps to have acces to full system mem.
@@Alitar1212 Man, I want to know what to do if you don't have a game installed, because that is my case, I have installed Tinfoil and it keeps telling me NOT ENOUGH MEMORY TO RUN... please I need your help :S
I need your Help. I tried to installed a game (.nsp) by using Goldleaf (Via usb install). Everything went fine and i got the gme icon on my homescreen. but when i m trying to start the game, it asks for an internet connection to (probably) verify the license or sth. like that. how can i fix this? THX
Do you have a video for people with patched Nintendo switches? I have a Xaw9 switch and I was thinking of buying sx core and soldering it on but before I do I would want to follow what you do because you give out the safest options out there to not getting banned. Thank you for all your videos too very informative!!
First launch your cfw switch using fuse-primary and make sure that fuse-primary file is supported for the version of your atmosphere go to hb App Store and download atmosphere updater enter and then press update atmosphere it will automatically update your atmosphere and fix corrupts as well it will add latest sig patches
@@shivasthong4924 modern warfare made a video explaining how to use layeredfs and mods. It should be the same process. Just find the mod on game banana, and put it into atmosphere/insert Zelda titleid/romfs. I highly suggest watching the video for clarity.
Question. All of this shown here is a payload right? The app store and anything you download and install from there stay on the console as long as its on? If you turn it off and on again. You cannot access anything until you install the payload again? Or once its installed you can turn on and off freely and still have the games installed and playable? I just want to make sure before i try this on mine.
Warning to everyone. I am following these tutorials and am now getting constant Panics and cant do anything on my switch. be careful and wait for a new tutorial for the latest amosphere
fantastic video. I have a collection of approx 50 games installed on my SD card. Is there an app that will allow me to backup those games so I can put onto my computer? I'm looking to increase my SD card size and I don't want to have to (definitely not download) and install them again.
Hey, buddy. I took the liberty and reformated the sd card to exfat like you did, only reason why, I wanted one single game dump not two. It's too much to splice them. Now, I still got the error stating you must be using a FAT32, so I have no choice into splitting this game up. any reason why!?
What version of Tinfoil were you using? Were you using emuNAND while using Tinfoil? The latest tinfoil has issue with emuNADD , do you still have the old version that you run on this video ?
Hey - when I attempt to download Retroarch from the HB Store, it starts to download (the progress bar moves) but then i get an error code (2168-0002). I've attempted it multiple times with the same result...any ideas? Apologies if this has been covered before!
I have a question, after you install the nsps do they stay on the switch even after I reboot it? Or do I have to reinstall them when I reinstall the cfw?
Great videos thanks. Picking up a used one tomorrow. Non patched. Do you have a suggestion on the actual firmware? I've been told to keep it earlier and also been told to update to 800 and 801 first
Exploit the switch on its current firmware and if you want to update use choidujourNX to update it. That way you will have the ability to downgrade if your running into issues on higher firmwares.
So if I'm fat32 and my dump is on a large game like 5 2gb files. Would you have to compile those in its own folder or just put them all loose in the games folder and tinfoil would do the magic?
Well also I think 3 of my games are 4gb+ as a single. So may be better to do exfat if it could do large single files if it could do the broken up one also(or just re do it as a large single file if not)

I have 3 physical games and a 200GB Micro SD. I'm tired of changing those games one to another so I had the idea to install those games directly to the SD card. Is it possible to dump the games to .nsp and then install the games to my Switch? The real question is: will I be able to play those games online again? I have run cfw (atmosphere) to backup and modify save files, but I've not installed a single game ye
