This was Jaedong at his absolute prime for his ZvT matchup. It was incredible how he dismantled every Terran he faced in 2011(including Flash). Although his other two matchups declined considerably by then he was still a force to be reckoned with.
Nice play by Fantasy, using mines and Vultures as buffers and Tanks in siege mode to hold the horde at bay. He'd use the Map's big open space for that. if only he'd just a little more Goliaths.
I am a normal zerg player...and men, its a heavy weak hard for every corner manage race. I lost almost 70% games, and i am not noob noob, i am a regular player....the quantiti of terran and protos cheeses,the op in early game...deam. But jaedong is a beast really.
Depends on the variety of your strategies to take advantage from others. Zerg is a really special race because you can create different types of hordes to ambush the Terran defense or even the Protoss powerful attack.

wow! I wish Jaedong would play like that against Flash, he always seems to give up before he's even started against Flash... This games shows me the Tyrant is still as strong as ever! Good game Jaedong!
Rooting for Jaedong. He (And zerg in General) have had a tough time lately. And his team is terrible. And Broodwar isn't the same without Jaedong ripping people apart. So I put my Terran bias away for a while a root for a zerg.
observers please focus more on the most important stuff u missed 2 drops on tanks and a vulture arras over some transfering drones looking at somewhere else less important but good job though
ye this game wasnt balanced... people adapted to it and still people complaing about the 54% winrate in Sc2... Sc2 is closer to perfect balance then broodwar but broodwars gameplay was way more entertaining and fun.
***** no it was not... the difference was that the game were all entertaining while in sc2 the matches are less entertaining and more frustrating. For example as terran vs P its not lilke 60% winrate for protoss its like 53% for protoss thats more balanced then the Winrate in broodwar but still in broodwar you could still win because of harder mechanics outplay lesser good players in sc2 its way harder as terran yxou have to be constant aggresive even tho its most of the time not worth it. Its just good gamedesign vs bad game design (sc2)
+Sword1471 Yes. People think that unequal winrates automatically imply imbalance between races. This is not neccessarily the case. Lets say f.e. the top ten terran players have two players that outclass everyone, and the other two races each have two players in their top ten that can't compete with the rest. Lets also assume that the advantage for these two terran players derives from advanced stratetegies (game knowledge) instead of motor skill (speed, accuracy, etc.), then their playstyle will inevitably be copied by all terran players. Very soon there will be unequal winrates, making it seem like terran is being favored on all maps except for those that a) favor the other races, or b) have not been figured out by the majority of terrans. Then Blizzard steps in and nerfs the terran race in some way, winrates get closer to being even, and it seems like the balance issue has been resolved. Or has it? No, it hasn't. In fact the game is now more imbalanced than it was before. And why did that happen? Because of this harmful misconception that winrates equal balance.
@vicioso82 Dark swarm? LOL Dark swarm is not that good at professional level, because pros will just stim the MnM and move them out of the swarm, then irradiate the defiler. Swarm happens again? Repeat. If Dark Swarm lands on an expo, do the same thing, except you can freaking lift the command center, but Protoss can't even lift off their nexus like bastard Terrans can. And the reason why Jaedong dominated so hard was because he was a better player despite playing an imbalanced matchup
terran is the most unforgiving of mistakes, like widow mines, stimming at wrong time, tank positioning and vulture control, make a mistake and you lose a lot of stuff and maby...the game, although mass BCs make things feal better
@EziixPked BW is NOT completely balanced. Sure, it's pretty balanced, but TvZ in BW is still pretty imbalanced. Look at how badly JD dominated early+mid game, and Fantasy almost came back by just massing tanks and planting mines and defending. Tanks need to be 3 supply, SCVs life should NOT be 60, Vultures should not come with 3 mines and only cost 75 minerals, Metal Upgrades SHOULD be proportional, T flying buildings give too much advantage, etc. Terran is a fucking joke.
