Wish we had another SAO game where we could create and play as our own custom character like Fatal Bullet.

I really love Sillica and Lisbeth’s design as the wind goddess account and the fire goddess account. 🤩

I still have to catch up with some of the earlier games, but I'll be picking this up on day one. SAO's cast of characters will always be endearing to me, and I'm a little sad that their story is coming to an end. Hopefully this finale will be memorable.

Gotta love the stealth Argo reveal. I can finally go on adventures with my favorite info broker again.

FATAL BULLET is the best SAO game ever made, it had nostalgic music, cool gameplay, sexy characters and highly customizable, I spent hours and hours on that game because it was so good, if it was only made online properly like SAO Alicization lycoris it would still be played online even now.

The SAO IP is being severely wasted on the horrible game devs that is Aquria. Fatal Bullet tops everything they've made and its sad Bandai Namco still keeps giving them the rights to make these horrible games. Time to wake up and bring back DIMPS ya'll.

Sword art online has so much potential to be made into an amazing game that fans would love... but we just keep getting these clones. I get that you guys are trying to just bank off the anime's popularity but you would probably make so much more if you made a damn good game and continue to bring updates to it. Connect the worlds of SAO (ggo, sao, alfheim, ect) together, let us make our own characters, I want to be in the SAO universe as myself. Let me meet Kirito and go on quests with him... Just so much untapped potential man.

Is it wrong that I what we had, in fatal bullet playing as our own original character instead of being Kirito and I know you can customize Kirito to make it look like yourself, but you’re still Kirito the game see if you like it and so does the story as well.

The best SAO game I've played is alicization Lycoris so this is going to be goated since it is a sequel to alicization Lycoris and Sao is my favorite anime.

They need to make an SAO game that plays like genshin. They don't know what they're doing

I need to see more. After Alicization Lycoris i have grave concerns regarding these games on a technical level. And im not just talking about the 30FPS. AL all in all felt slow, and also as if your character moved on ice grounds at all times, with no anti slip shoes. i couldnt even progress much through the game. Course i hope Last Recollection on next gen is 60fps, well optimized and all that but im getting a really bad feeling its not going to be.

Why I feel the combat gameplay is same as lycoris, I really prefer a better combat system, more dynamic, a fusion between Lycoris and fatal bullet gameplay would be great.

Graphics and resolution don't seem to have improved compared to Alicization Lycoris, which previously only ran at a paltry 30 fps. Pretty disappointing, especially considering the resolutions you can actually get for gaming these days. Fatal Bullet was much better there. I really had the hope that a good quality game with good resolution and graphics would emerge by today's standards. Hope is known to die last, but it dies.

Just put SAO ON PS-V2 and Oculus Quest?!!!

So the gameplay is the same as the Alicization Lycoris which would mean only a few will be able to do the end game content, the new dark knight character has replaced Medina and will most likely end up the same way as her, the only thing that's interesting is that Liz and Silica now have goddess accounts. Still no western limited edition.

This is a missed opportunity imo, Underworld could have been a possible CaC MMO like Fatal Bullet but they chose to make this instead, oh well

i've never played one of the sao games before since i havent found time to buy it or anything but i do wish the art style was a bit more like, anime-y? the land scape just doesnt really match the characters, but man idk dont trust me

U: hmpf.. why no SAO Fatal Bullet 2...? This game was incredible way more successfull than A-Lycros o.O We have rpgs with closerange combat like sands on the beach! But 3rd person shooter with rpgs elements; extremly rare!

Oh dear.... I WANT to love SAO games as much as possible, but in the end I can really only get into Fatal Bullets for one big reason... I don't want, to play as Kirito. I know that, removing Kirito kind of makes the whole "SAO" situation lose its meaning and that these games are meant to be stories of their own to add ONTO the SAO world. Not to mention the people who wrote teh story would refuse to write a story with the same girls in the game without Kirito to fawn over and have them getting friendly/intimate with a player-made character, and I get it... But out of many games I have played where you play as characters based off a anime/manga/etc, Kirito has been my LEAST favorite character to ever play as and only because the Anime show kinda ruined him for me immensely. I've played Legend of Zelda series and I don't mind playing as Link. I played One Piece games, and love playing as Luffy, or even Final Fantasy games and playing as the main Warrior of Light for the series. The setting of playing as Kirito ruined my drive to play Hollow Realization when I thought I got to play as a OC character, but realized EVERYONE was treating me like Kirito (Even if I make a female character) and talk to me as if I'm Kirito and it was depressing. And before people wonder no I don't need to make my own character to have the SAO waifu be my harem. Fatal Bullet did the smart thing and made other characters for your character to get intimate with which was PERFECT, and the SAO gang just treated me as a good friend which was a great experience. I Just want a SAO game, where you're simply in the SAO world, and simply interact with characters from the anime. That's all, I want.

Hollow Realization was the one I enjoyed the most, i feel it had a lot of potential. Fatal Bullet was mixed for me because: - copy pasta enemies - no beastiary so you can find rare stuff or reference enemy drops easier - terrible Ai team mates - aim bot enemies - I don't care what excuse anyone uses for this it was a bad design decision having attacks that ALWAYS landed no matter what, what was the point of having dodge if it doesn't work. - floppy physics on longer hairs - muddy backgrounds - no impact or reaction from bullets (it doesn't ever feel like a gun is being fired more like airsoft darts - using models instead of art for convos just looked lazy What it did do well though is: - The soundtrack slaps, no one can argue with that - awesome particle effects that truly feel satisfying and like the anime the only thing missing was the red hurt effects appearing on models, a lot of sao games forget this detail so often. - great leveling system that isnt over designed or overly complicated like the other sao games. It felt very natural moving through the game from start to end then moving on to Hell mode and stacking exp on your guns to maximize level ups. - team mates leveling with you - being able to control how to inherit gun skills from weapon to weapon (if only genshin had this system with artifacts) - personal android helping you get HUGE STONKS I actually really liked this, seeing your bank account just grow was very satisfying. - grapple hook, while it isn't as good as lost Planet or Freedom War's who did the grapple hook first it works for what it's worth and it added versatility - nice healthy assortment of builds

Devs.. please studying the recent gameplay of GranBlue fantasy. Then revisit the sword art IP because this game looks like it's still in 2018 and so was the previous installment... Sword art deserves better

Dang, another SAO where it seems I can't make a character

Look I’m stoked for this game but it can NOT have as many cutscenes as alicization lycoris did. Good lord. The entire storming the axiom church segment was LITERALLY an hour and a half of the 2d anime looking cutscenes and scenes of the 3D character models talking to eachother and a few 5 minute long boss battles in between here and there. That’s too much man🤣🤣

Idk. I was burned by Lycoris (the gameplay was clunky and enemies were damage sponges, not to mention the prologue being 10 hours long and I just did not care near the end of those ten hours). This does look better, but I think I'll wait until after release before deciding if I'll buy .

What stopping me from buying SAO games is that they don't have English voice actors from the series.

I hope this will be better polished then Alicization Lycoris. That Game had some really bad Framerate issues back then on PS4 Pro and even some nasty Bugs.....oh and i dont even wanna talk about the god damn boring first 2 Chapters with nearly all of them VN Parts.

Lol. Bandai Namсo blocked in the Russian Federation only the SAO series when other game series are available. I sincerely do not understand this action. I am sure that the SAO games do not pay off anyway, because they are bad, so why do you deprive yourself of additional earnings? Then block the rest of the series of games, since you consider the Russians to be the wrong people

I've always loved the anime but I've never like the SAO games, hate me. I'm guessing I'm spoiled because the games just cannot match up in terms of quality with the Anime. Perhaps if one day they went all out with the Unreal Engine with an SAO game it might be worth my time.

Why do they look the same as the previous SAO games. Man I'm kinda tired of SAO games, it feels like they just copy paste it from the previous games.
