@@user-my1cz1ne4u As good as these games ever do. Yeah. It's basically just Lycoris with a few new assets and better performance. I'm cool with that. I play these games for the story mostly.

They need to get Arc Systems to bless an SAO game

@@MinhLe19303 It is, and so are all the other games… but the realism doesn’t really hit the mark for me. I know that’s extremely personal and probably differs between user, but it just looks… odd.

@@BashFisk For a small company that develop games with smaller return compared to popular games, I think it's okay enough. Underworld was always high-played as very realistic unlike realism in video games, so I can see they put more effort for that in Alicization games

The games are fun, but you need to come to grips with each games specific style of 'jank'. if you can't, then you won't have a good time. the one with the LEAST jank is Fatal Bullet (the 3rd person looter shooter; game 5 of 7). Story wise, if you aren't keen on following the adventures of Kirito, then stick with Fatal Bullet, that one has a story centered around a create-a-character. Kirito is in Fatal bullet, but he's a side attraction. But if you're willing to give it a shot, try it out. (I personally prefer the story told through the games rather than the series since it seemed to give all the characters more time to grow/shine) These games aren't developed in house at Bandai Namco, they're done by a smaller developer (AQURIA) and Bamco just publishes them. I'm still not able to play it properly on my Ps4, lagged as hell at release and it lagged as hell a year ago when I tried it again.

Nah Fr the Kirito glazing is CRAZY! They really made all male characters irrelevant and the one time he had a rival/bro, they killed him off. Then he gets into a relationship the FIRST arc but every SINGLE arc after that the main female character falls in love with him (even his sister/cousin 🤦‍♂️) Bro barely struggles most the time, that’s why fans nickname him “Jesus”. Love this underrated series but that’s the one downside

Or hell, I'd take the customization they have in that trailer if it actually changed the story somewhat, but we all know the cutscenes are just gonna be default Kirito, they'll still say his name, and regardless of who you make you're still just gonna be a guy.

Fatal Bullet is great for a reason

if you aren't playing SAO: Integral Factor, why WOULD they make a console SAO with a create-a-character story...?

From what I saw, there's almost no changes in the battle system, except the better UI, easier to praise your ally, and the party chain have special cut-ins. That's it. Your character still only got 8 skill slots (4 weapon & 4 general skills), the party command is the same, and the enemies are still HP sponges. This is not counting other stuffs as well, like the floaty & jank physics, horrendous environments, and of course the possibility of another "SAO Shop" or "C.U.B.E" shenanigans, which is a free-to-play economy system being implemented into a full-priced game. So nope, this game is very likely going to be the same like Alicization Lycoris, and I definitely not gonna play it. Instead, I'm leaning to buy/play Granblue Re-Link, which have similar gameplay (action RPG), but with faster paced + much more polished compared to this game.

@@ItsNoahVG The enemies being HP sponges were also the reason why I always grind my levels since early game on Alicization Lycoris, since I don't want to fight them at the very least in the story mode. I remember that I grind my characters to lv30+ in the starting area (the map with Eugeo & Alice's village), because the devs thinks its perfectly okay to allow a lv11 character to take a quest that requires them to defeat a lv33 boss...

@@harrymillar4193 When compared to the other games in the series (I'm dumping SAO vs Accel World along with it), Lost Song was as bland visual wise and gameplay wise as they get. Combat felt stiff, flight was flat out boring, character animations was definitely stiff compared to the rest of the series (I want to say Fatal Bullet & Alicization Lycoris to some degree almost falls into this area), and the story....well, I won't get into that because I didn't even make it past 3 hrs into the game that I took it back to Gamestop and totally skipped SAO/ACCEL. Again, this is just from my experience with it and how I felt regarding it. If people found it fun and good, that's totally fine.....different folks for different strokes.

@@MikuruX You have to remember the order in which the game came out though; Lost Song was only the second game and was the first to introduce flying. It also brings us Rain and Seven who were two characters that didn’t immediately fall in love with Kirito which was a nice change. Rain’s gimmick of how she was able to dual wield was also pretty fun. (Basically her inventory is full of swords and she just keeps hot-swapping them). ACvsSAO was just a fun lil crossover game. Nothing more to it at all, so if you didn’t enjoy the characters, there really wasn’t anything for you. I enjoyed it, but I can certainly see the reason behind the hate.
