There is a HUGE Cartel Market sale going on for weapons right now. We do not know how long it will last but it started August 13, 2024. The previous sale on armor at similar discounts ended after 2 weeks, so this sale may or may not also last that long - or may end early when 7.5.1 is released in “late august”. There are 56 pages of weapons on sale, some up to 90% off!

Inexpensive
#1 Vengeance’s Unsealed Saberstaff - I love that you can see the crystal inside! It changes with your color crystal too. 80 CC
#2 Primordial Blaster Grek - This is actually one of my go-to’s when I don’t know what blaster to use. It has a neat little red heads-up display, Only 80 CC and only buy 1 if you are a dual-pistol wielder and use collections to duplicate free!
#3 Volatile Derelict Lightsaber - I am SHOCKED this one is so discounted at 90% Off. It’s only 80 CC and has this beautiful fluffy sparkle effect. PREVIEW this one in game, so pretty.
#4 Satele Shan’s Sparring Lightsaber - I’m also surprised at the discount on this one! I love this one’s hilt so pretty. 90 CC and if you are a dual-wielder, only buy one and duplicate with collections!
#5 Dark Honor Guard’s Curved Vibrosword - If you’ve wanted to try a non-saber, this is a fun and cheap one. Inspired by sequels trilogy. 110 CC
#6 Ancient Force-Imbued Bladestaff - fhajfhaskf I love this one. The runes change color with your crystal! 160 CC. It’s brother the single-bladed version is “on sale” at 1,900 CC, lol. Only the dual-blade is cheap.
#7 Classic Vibrosword - Want to stab things instead of using a lightsaber, or need some nostalgia? Classic Vibrosword is 160 CC
#8 Tac-HUD Heavy Sniper Rifle - If you are playing a sniper, this is often a cheap one to pic up with a cool holographic effect. Sniper rifles in general are often very cheap on the GTN due to less people playing snipers.
#9 Corellian Bunker Buster Grek - If you are playing on a Commando, you can also often get Assault Cannons for very cheap on the GTN, so check there too! This one has a cool purple thingy. 240 CC
#10 - Ordtech series in general, all weapon types. These range from 100-250 CC and all have a neat glow pattern.
Expensive
#1 Fractured Bogan Lightsaber
#2 Fractured Ashla Lightsaber, its brother, interestingly enough, is only 1,680 CC (normally also 4,800 CC).
#3 Ancient Force-Imbued Blade 1,900 CC, normally 3,800 CC. I can’t even be mad these are expensive even with the sale, I really love the glowing runes that change color with your lightsaber.
#4 Senya Tirall’s Lightsaber - kind of a unique saber! A dual-blade with the lightsaber part only at one end. Is this one anyone’s wishlist? It seems uncommon to use. 1,875 CC, normally 3,750 CC
#5 Dark Honor Guard’s Unstable Lightsaber - Now THIS one is a highly-desired lightsaber for many players. Still so expensive though! 1,650 CC, normally 5,500 CC
#6 Twisted Fang Lightsaber - Another beloved lightsaber, Twisted Fang has a curved hilt and lightning-effect baked in to the blades. 1,520 CC, normally 3,800 CC #WTOR
#7 Defiant Vented Dualsaber - This is like Kylo Ren’s saber, but doubled. It’s single version is actually on sale with a bigger discount though!
#8 Arn’s Unshielded Dualsaber - Much like the Defiant Vented, the single version of this saber is more highly discounted. I love the intricacy of these sabers. There’s also matching blaster weapons.
#9 Darth Malgus Lightsaber - This is like the upgraded version of the original you can find in-game many places. Both the (Damaged) and undamaged version are on sale for the same price. 720 CC, normally 4,800 CC
#10 oh my god there is seriously too many -_- so there is 444 different SWTOR weapons on sale, some highly discounted, on the Cartel Market right now. I made a FULL list you can search through here! Hope you liked the list of expensive ones!

you did better. For myself, I'm looking for lightsaber hilts for my RP characters, can't find one to fit. For other weapon types, I already have one of each type, and apart from the standard issue vibro-blade, nothing of interest.

my quess is item modifications coming up next but legacy unlock would be nice too i remember the physical pain i felt during the mount sale (first time i spent cc), i already picked out armor, weapon and mount for each of my character to buy in the future only to find out how much of a mistake i made thinking mounts are account wide 🥲

@@asclepius.dionysus The game isnt dead. "dead game" means either few (500 or less) or no other players online, yet the player count decent for an old mmorpg and has a lots of active guilds. And we also about to recive a new patch, with new and returning content, more art model remade and probably plenty of bug fixes. They clearly lacking communications with the community but i think at last the time is coming to prove they good enough, they just simply need time to cook

@@mun-grohiik420 I was playing the most from 2020 - 2023, and I just recently started playing again and the player numbers are way lower than those 3 years, and those years were lower than from, 2016-2020, the peak of swtor. I may not have fallen off completely, but it's declining fast.

Gothic Master's Dualsaber is on sale for 80% which is insane for how new it is too bad the single blade Gothic Master's Lightsaber is not on sale

For new players wanting to make cash I would watch the Satele sabers and always check the GTN price before buying anything as many items are actually cheap. The high end stuff that costs way more has gone way down in value with the economy fixes and the Shan sabers being in and out of season always keeps them very high compared to their cost. So does it being elegant and understated. 100 million plus is what I would expect on the single blades as a floor once they are gone again and potentially quite a bit more. Compare that to the other expensive sabers as far as investment with this sale at it's stupidly better. If I didn't have tens of billions where money doesn't even matter anymore I would legit buy like 20 of them with cartel coins. For those looking to go all in on a melee item always preview saber crystal colors. Many blades have colors that can be VERY thin compared to other colors and when the base color is orange or green this is almost always the case with colors like red. An example would be the Tulak saber. If you like the orange based colors or greens, some whites and purples its great. Want it to be red? Might want to preview that first cus the red blades are very thin in comparison and you may like something like the Satele (looks nice with red), Unstable Peacemaker (love this one with black red crystals) or Vaylin sabers (my favorite for Jedi's) more than much more expensive options.

Hey, someone else who noticed Vaylin's blade is thicker than others (I think it's the thickest lightsaber blade in the game, could be wrong tho)

Gtfo with that shit lmao. It's almost impossible for new players to even gather that much credits anymore (even after long grind of heroics, galactic, crafting and selling items to vendors) due to how atrociously the "cartel like" economy is runned by the grand players... Anyways, most people play this nowadays for the story aspect than MMO-like, so very little will bring themselves to such a hassle.

@@chedpleb 100M “as a floor once they are gone again.” if you’re gonna complain about someone’s comment at least finish reading it, and think about it for two seconds. So let’s think: to even make the trade they’d have to be a subscriber to handle over 1m transactions, and in subscribing they’d get at least 500ccs. More if they have two factor login for at least a month, have been subbed over a month, got a bundle when they joined, or started doing the galactic season. So the main point was they could buy one or more blades with 90cc, which again they’re _guaranteed_ to have in this hypothetical, and wait to sell it for a minimum of 100M after the sale has gone away

this sale came just to insult me. I got tired of waiting for the Executioners Maw to be on sale and i paid full price. two days later this sale drops.
