You know Sydney is not just on another level physically, but also mentally. She talks about the platform she's been given and her gifts not being about her, and she limits her time on her social media accounts because it doesn't help her on the track. As someone who has developed the careers of young musicians over the years, I can say that what she possesses in her perspective is incredible at her age. She doesn't get emotionally swayed, stays internally focused, and puts her trust 100 percent in her coach. She is in a place as an athlete and human being that makes her unstoppable. It's incredible to witness her.

Not only is Sydney an incredible athlete, but she's also an incredible human being. How can you not be in awe of her.

People need to remember about Delilah is she caught covid twice and had a hammy injury several weeks ago. Otherwise, as she would have been more competitive with Femke for silver. Hey,and still earned Bronze speaks volumes on how great Delilah is. Sydney, is just on another level period.

True enough but she lacks sydneys flat speed. In the realm of sport speed is king! From high jump to pole vault even to marathom speed is king!

Dalilah is a legend of the sport but the future is in the hands of Sydney and Femke. I get the feeling that Femke is the Ryan Lochte of the 400mh. She'd be the best if there wasn't another more talented generational athlete running at the same time. Mad respect to these three. They've elevated the sport.

Lol, my social skills would force me to ask questions to the others. These track and field journalists just don't care. At a certain point you'd say why even have a press conference with the finishers if you only care about one.

The interviewers never asks the right questions

Most track journalists are not creme of the crop. Jon Gault for one is an exception.

This is why track as a whole needs to work badly on getting the press conferences right. Have separate full times for each of these women, not just have it be the case where you have all three but only ONE runner getting a predominance of the questions. It was way awkward for Dalilah and Femke to be there and not get questions.

Hmm...here is my observation/question: if the interviewer from germany called the present record holder of 4 flat "running pharmacy" then it would be reasonable to assume that that 4 flat record is not attainable without pharmcutical help. Maybe the 47.6 is beyond "normal" female physiology? Just a thought?

Legit question. I support all questions about the 80s Doped Records. They were disgraceful records. That being said, the athlete pool, training and nutrition is superior to what it was in the 80s, so yes, attaining a 47 high time is definitely possible IMHO.

Hmm, I'm guessing eventually with advancing technology and more knowledge about the sport, it'll be possible. But I don't know how soon it'll take--could be in a few years or a lot longer. :)

Well i was doing a back ground check on the 400m all time list. Top 2 times from the 80's 3rd fastest time is by nasir. She out- doping violations. Times down from that 5 or 6 owned by koch.i dont think that mcglaugin can run 47. Wishful thinking. It would take too much typing to explain my reasons. All i will say is this if shaune miller cant run then certainly sydney cant.

Technological Enhancement Advantages will eventually set World Records, that whatever PED scheme's that existed during the 1980s, will probably seem like High School records. Therefore; There needs to be Serious Consideration given to Giving a Starting Date(ex: 2030) for WRs, such as A Asterisk to Reference The Effects of Technological Change(s) to Sport's.
