Congratulations on this excellent tutorial! Although lengthy, it is clear and concise as you talk about several operating systems. It is an excellent aggregation of several other YT videos I watched, most of these are outdated and somehow controversial regarding setup. After a NAT port forwarding (22000TCP/UDP) it works even through 4G on my mobile phone. I used this primary as a test to see how the sw behaves on a different network.
Thanks a lot for this full and comprehensive tutorial! I just got into Syncthing and watching this video was super helpful! I hope you have a nice day, good sir :)
Thanks for your comment. In an age of ever growing privacy concerns it's great that free and open source projects allow us to take back control of our data.
Congratulations, very didactic video. The only thing I miss from Syncthing is the ability to access (or share) files from non-synchronised devices via web. Do you think it would be possible?
Thanks. As far as I'm aware, Syncthing does not support that kind of access. You may be better of looking at something like Nextcloud. I did a video on this, if you'd like to take a look: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-CAtzoeurMTQ.html
