R.I.P. Aun'shi indeed. I'll miss the old Blademaster. He was my favourite character outside of Farsight. I remember the old lore where he was the only ethereal that was welcome inside the Enclaves.
Same. He's got a killer story and I was about to do a unit review and how you can use him to great/good/competitive effect but sadly it shall never be. He did shred those tactical marines and almost wiped the entire squad on his own so it was a good last run
@@CommanderNearsight I'll always love the story 'The Defence of Fio'vash' from the first Tau codex, which A Border Prince did a reading of recently: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-IokkNIISRf4.htmlsi=9JOxastFaALft7Ab
Sorry. I know space got like revers and incursors and stuff. I didn't know their ability was literally their name. But I'll keep that noted for the future thank you!
I love all Infantry battles. Good fun. The new Strike Team suppression mechanic is awesome, if they shoot and wound an enemy, that enemy is -1 to hit. Also Stealth Battlesuits give re-roll hit and wounds if guiding.
Yes! These guys are going to be LETHAL potentially. And a goos support. I'm hyped for a new mass infantry T'au army. And the kroot just got a nice upgrade too
Great battle overview, love Tau infantry and it looked like an epic game. I'm particularly likeing my pathfinders at the moment. I'm thinking a mass marine army is one of the armies we may struggle more with, well at least those ppl running crisis suits. Our old plasma and cib crisis suits used to kill marines for fun, but the new fireknife and starscythes don't do anywhere near the same damage per points spend, plus plasma is a shorter range. I think both Kauyon and Mont'ka will be good for an all infantry build. I think Kauyon is being sleep on. An odd upgrade is that both the guided and observer get sustained hits to on turn 3+. This is absolutely huge for pathfinders, as now they can guide and also get +1 BS with all their shots. The pathfinders to put out 32 shots for the base 90 points (using ion rifles, recon & gun drones). Kroot will be good for sticky objectives, but outside of that everything is very expensive points wise. Hopefully they will come down a bit on a day one release points update. Looking forward to seeing more from your channel, and congrats on getting monetised.
Sick bat rep :) I was doing some thinking, I mentioned in a previous video that a nice mic might help out bump the quality up. However, I believe I'm wrong. The room you record in, I assume, has large empty flat walls. If you could texture the walls with something soft like a hung blanket or even some sound foam, it will really drop down your echo you have currently. I am so thankful you are providing consistent Tau content. Im excited to see how things adabt and grow for your channel :)
Thanks for the tip! I'll find a better room/make it. And of course! I want to give people good T'au content consistently. I feel like we've been deprived of it for some time. (the consistency that is) Thanks for your support and encouragement! :)
Assuming you guys were playing with tactical secondaries, I think the Blood Angels would've won. They have much more movement and were already wide on the board, so unless you could chase them all down with some hefty Advance rolls on the Breachers, they could score more than you. Your 1 Vespid remaining definitely could've punctured one of the flanks, but not both unless you gave up your home objective on Turn 5. I didn't see the Hellblasters, but i imagine they were also don't quick work.
Thanks. I was thinking that. My cousin was convinced I would have won but just because I could have maybe tabled him that doesn't mean I would have been able to out score him.
