😂 Uploads were worse with Sprint. They were known for poor upload speeds.

In our rural Ohio area this has been going on for years. I started of with Internet speeds of easily over 50 but now it has dropped to completely to almost nothing. They completely over sold in our area.

In Colorado, I haven’t had any issues. It’s way better than AT&T here as T-Mobile has way more Towers than AT&T does in my area.

The low upload shows it's a line of sight issue. The gateway's weak power can't get the signal back to the tower.

Im a TMHI customer, as well phone, and i live out in rural kansas. It happens out here as well. I used to average, between late night/early morning and all day, a nice 175 down and 70 up (N71). And, as you know, they got the N41 licenses, finally, but chose not to make the switch, leaving us with N71. Now i get, on average, 35 down and 20 up. The upload number has been wacky out here giving extremely low numbers like 1 to 3. All of this applies to my phone service as well. Its insame T-Mobile not putting up N41 out here. Ill stick with them, though, until Ideatek installs pure fiber out here this fall/winter.

i have issues with their home wifi everyday,cell phone coverage isnt the best and i live in the city

Only issue I have with tmobile is it feels like at night like around 9 or 10 suddenly my internet sucks. Idk if it'd cause a software update or shutting down the high speed bands to save power. But yeah I have noticed a bit of a slow down here, not noticeable during the day unless you're speed testing for it. But as far as the home internet is concerned I would use a aftermarket router, these OEM routers suck, built as cheap as possible. Take cox, the OEM modem would get half of our advertised speeds over ethernet. Our new Arris modem can easily hit those speeds and over a bit before being throttled over wifi using our Asus router

Tmobile is generally fastest and most reliable in my area, but they do need some tlc in certain areas that have been over sold

It’s not just the home internet service Sneed. It’s also and mainly the cellular network that’s struggling in so many areas poorly. I am getting so many times, on average, 2-3 Mbps for download, and then .25 kbps- 1 Mbps for upload, yup, you read that right, kbps in 2024. Where can I send you screen shots of what I’m getting with t-Mobile?? Everytime I call in to escalate the issue they tell me they’re at full spectrum even for n41, and will see about adding more spectrum or towers, or updates and upgrades, even though it’s already been done. Where I live, a dc suburb, a county that has 1 million, close to 2 million people, they’ve invested and spent a lot supposedly in maintaining the network, but real use case shows otherwise.

T-Mobile is doing everything they can to maximize revenue in the short term. Which I can understand as they need increased cash flow. That being said this mentality will hurt them in the long term as they damage their brand. T-Mobile is much better off today than at any point at time and it’s clear that they are taking steps to emulate the other carriers but they have to keep up with capex. Just because they got N41 basically deployed doesn’t mean they can take their foot off the gas pedal. Hopefully, as years go by we see things like network slicing get leveraged and more bandwidth added to cell sites to allow for more people to use the services that they are paying for.

I have the T-Mobile home Internet service so far no issues 🐱😌😌 im not in a rural area 😕 but its working good 💯😊 not tremendous but 😄 i rate it a 6

If I buy a cellular router, do I just go to T-Mobile and ask for a sims card? Do I have to tell them it's for a cellular router or laptop?

I’ve lost nothing in the two years I’ve had T-Mobile and I don’t live too far from you. Speeds are around 500 to 600 download 60 to 70 upload that’s megabytes per second.
