I think it got retconned, live. Probably inadvertently. As I remember it, Jerry brought both sisters up before they became relevant - Auspicia Dran and her rival company as a throwaway joke and then Portentia in the story about the Crypt (I think it was the first live game) Then when Portentia showed up, and Perkins introduced her as "your sister" Jerry asked if it was his rival, Auspicia, and Perkins said "No, it's your other sister. The one who disappeared through the portal." The next time I remember it being brought up was in AI: The Series, when Auspicia came into the plotline proper and the guys were asking questions about her, and Jerry said something along the lines of not knowing much about what happened to her since she disappeared through the portal. Maybe Jerry only meant Omin to have one sister and got a bit confused, but anyway it seems like lines got crossed so it's good he's nailing down the details before it gets any more confusing. Mind you, it's getting to the point where it feels like it would be nice for Portentia to get some backstory. She was working for an evil dragon cult, after all..

When the one in the balloon showed up he asked if it was "Portencia the sister that has an rival company (has a joke) " Chris said "No, it was the one you left behind" HOWEVER and this is where the confusion also comes. After that part the name change. The one in the balloon that was he's Acquisition Inc partner has a kid and that had a relation with Jim was named Portencia and the rival was named Auspicia Dran (he's twin that never disappeared) so Portencia is the one that disappeared has a kid had an affair with Jim And Auspicia is the twin Rival of Omin

The more D&D streams I watch the more I appreciate High Rollers.

I always think of Bilbo who retired at eleventy-one and twenty years later he's decrepit and ready for Valinor. In the Players Handbook it states that they generally live to 150- not 250. "to the middle of their second century" is the exact words. 250 would be the middle of their third century.

The number of straight characters/NPCs depends solely on the DM and the players. A lot of people like creating unique characters and there’s only so much you can do if all your making is cis straight guys. Besides, if everyone is the same it’d get boring. I’d also bet a sizable amount of my banking account that the majority of characters made in DND games are straight males, but that’s just conjecture.
