Thanks Leon , I am new qualified HGV 2 and want to make this Note, Thanks for your explanation, as New driver its not enough time what HGV driver got to learn everything and no training on site to learn those things they call small but it,s not like Use of Tacho? Understand hours and regulation in Practical is not easy. I feel like HGV driver should get more hours learning then thrown in to it
Great videos leon ,very helpful ......hgv drivers hours are so confusing ,i find the more drivers I ask when out on the road the more confusing it gets .....I was told at work you can do a 15 hour shift everyday as long as you have 11 hours rest ,surely that's incorrect ??.....
Hi, sorry to say but yes you can do a 15 hour shift. 15 plus 9 is 24 hours. As you can only do a reduced daily rest 3 times in a week you can only do a 15 hour shift 3 times in a week and you can only work 6 days in a row.
