Here’s pretty much all my tackle and how I organize it.
This video actually ended up being over 30 minutes initially but I tried to cut as much as I could and keep the important points. I’ll provide a summary here in the description.

ON THE WATER IN THE YAK ATTACK BLACK PAK
Soft plastics:
Zip Lock bags (usually 3-4 and each bag will hold about 5 bags of plastics) to hold a "category" of soft plastics (e.g. I’ll keep a zip lock bag of just flipping baits or a bag just of worms). I like this versus storing plastics in plano boxes for four reasons:
1) I like to keep the plastics in their original packaging 2) It’s easier to change out different baits when preparing for a trip (more customizable) 3) I can store more plastics this way 4) I can reach bags/baits easier and quicker
Hard Baits:
I use 3600 boxes for hard bait storage in the black pak. I opt for this size as I can put more in the black pak while still carrying enough of a type of bait I want. I personally thing 3700 boxes are a bit overkill for kayak fishing. I usually have 5-6 3600 boxes in the boat at one time.
Terminal Tackle (Bass Mafia Terminal Coffin):
Super excited for this new method of terminal tackle storage. I’ve experimented with various boxes and sizes in the past and after a lot of research, I’ve come to the conclusion that this Bass Mafia box will be my best option for terminal tackle storage. These boxes aren’t cheap but they’re extremely durable, waterproof, big and have a new innovative way to store tungsten and hooks. This box will go right under my seat so that it can be accessed quick and easy.
OFF THE WATER STORAGE:
Soft plastics:
I use 2 big plastic bins to keep back ups of all the baits I frequently use. Everything is organized by style of bait and color.
Hard Baits:
I use 3700 size boxes to keep back ups of all the hard bait I frequently used.
FINAL THOUGHTS:
Over the years I’ve really condensed and refined my tackle storage both on and off the water. I definitely have found a solid set of baits that I am comfortable with so I don’t have a bunch of “random” baits. Because I travel for work and need to be able to fit all of my gear in my truck (as well as all of the other things I travel with), space/storage is at a premium. I’m pretty happy with my current system. I feel I have all I need for fishing and can swap out baits easily based on the body of water I’m fishing.
