Hey Greg, you are our favorite by far! My wife and I have been married 36 years and in each season of life, we have always strived to find something that we like to do together. Now, both in our 50's, we are into kayak fishing. We learn SO much from your videos. We have just watched your video on reorganization and can sure relate after a summer of fishing. We enjoy competing against each other here in Maryland at Ft. Ritchie's Lake Royer . We both not only like your style of fishing, but your calm, friendly demeanor and your humbleness . Win or lose, you are the same guy. We watched a video you did a while back, showing the viewers around your neatly organized shop. Getting into bass fishing was the best thing that could have happened to me after my second daughter was stillborn this past April. After catching my first LMB in June and watching yours and other youtubers’ videos, I easily found my outlet to help cope. I’m hooked. I'm a 70 yr old beginner bass fisherman, living in the bay area. Love your videos and have learned quite a bit. I've fished local lakes for trout for numerous years, but only the past few weeks have been bass fishing. I've been using my old trout gear - 4 lb stetched out mono - and looking forward to organizing my limited amount of bass lures and tackle which are now sharing limited space with my trout tackle and strewn inside my ice chest. I don't have access to a boat or kayak, so fish only from the banks. Much appreciation for your videos - and yes I'm a subscriber of yours.

As someone coming from the fly fishing world into the traditional tackle bass fishing world. Your videos have helped a TON in helping me learn techniques and specifically WHERE and WHEN to use those techniques. On top of that your attitude is a nice change from other channels as you always enjoy your fishing and I think it’s important to remember, that’s why we fish. It’s fun!

I follow a similar system as you do with storing most baits and packing specific boxes for where I’m fishing that day, just on a much smaller level than what you have. Very nice fishing cave.

Greg, if you can find them, Plano used to make a plastic carrier box that held 4 3600 boxes stacked flat on top of each other but with little seperators in the sides. So when you stored the 4 boxes with the opening of the carrier box on its side facing you, the boxes can be slid out without having to move the boxes above it. This would make the boxes above your work bench easier to get out. I use this system for my boxes in the garage. Very handy when you have 8 or 12 boxes vertical and the one you want is on the bottom. Also look into some old 4 drawer metal filing cabinets, they are great for plastics due to the weight of the baits. This much easier than stacking plastic bins or boxes.

Hi Greg👋 I’ve been big into Trout fishing since a child but now I’ve decided to spread my wings and just started bass fishing, mostly in my perception outlaw 11.5 kayak which I just recently bought. Ive been trying to get out on it as much as I can while weather permits it. You were the first bass fishing channel I started to follow, and still the main channel I watch. Greg! I think this video is extremely helpful. I made the transition to day boxes when I'm fishing out of my kayak. It saves so much weight and helps you be more efficient with your fishing. I find that I'm less indecisive when it comes to color selection, especially when you only have 3 to choose from in the box. I went through a similar overhaul of my tackle cave about a month ago. Quality content never ceases to amaze me. Hope to see you on the Delta sometime. Cheers!

Great ideas here! I will never have that much stuff. I am always thinking about how best to organize my gear so that it's *convenient* for me to change what I'm taking with me since I bank fish and have to hike into a fishing spot. I too have been strategizing what I would bring with me if I packed just for a day of fishing because currently, I do overpack. The clear top case looks BRILLIANT! Will definitely check that out. I need to check out the sizes though, since I live in a very modest apartment and don't have a lot of shelf space. Thanks for this video!
