It IS a very beautiful yacht. But, it's so expensive and out of reach of even RU-vid and TicToc Influencers that I suspect that not many actually get built and those who can afford them want to keep them Totally Private. God Bless the Hardy Yachts and their magnificantly skilled craftspeople for turning out these pieces of Art and state of the art engineering and marine engineering. NEXT time you watch this video, consider the skills and experience of the people who build them and the owners and the sales team trying so hard to keep everyone fed and this fantastic company solvent. I Salute everyone at Hardy Yachts and hope that you all survive for another 100 years because your skills and knowledge and your YACHTS should be a national, security priority. Except that you aren't. Hardy build beautiful yachts and employ fantastically skilled artisans and world-class engineers. Let's pray the 1% admire them and BUY them!😢
Nice to see a proper test of a boat. No passing through the wake of the camera boat here. Good to see Hardy has taken on board the thoughts and comments of reviews from Hull no. 1, I thought that boat looked too dark and had the feeling of being cramped. A nice design of saloon etc with comfortable live aboard style sofa's and a very well laid out master. Good job all round.
Beautiful motor yacht of super expensive size. You will need six times the sales price plus tax in your bank today to ever enjoy this yacht for as little as a year... Truly beautiful boat from a fantastically safe boat builder. As for the presenter.... I've seen bigger waves inside harbours than I've ever seen him broadcast on a Rough Seas Test. (YES, I understand Marine Insurance and what etc, but, YOU are doing these boat builders Damage by NEVER actually taking them into ROUGHT WEATHER. Having watched many of your videos, I might prefer Dale Yachts for sea worthiness alone. (AND I totally understand the constraints of Borrowing and Insurance.) Don't pe e e us off with misleading Headlines. Please.
Thank you for the great review. Love Hardy boats - great design details, but can not get past fiberglass hulls. Thinking rocky shores of Minnesota's lakes and rivers
I honestly thought this boat would have took this weather I'm sure disappointed that you could not try as this says to me she cannot handle any kind of weather.not a good start to tell me oh yes it can stay the coarse so for that reason I would not even think of trying or buying this boat brand
@@MotorBoatYachting something we never find out is the thickness of hulls on boats, GRP ones in particular. Would it be possible to mention them in your videos, and compare stringers between brands?
I've seen catamarins take force 10 wind conditions without any problems. And also Nordhavans. Whats the CE rating on this one? Whats the max range going between 8 & 10 knots?
Can I point out something if my memory is correct? The Prestige 580, 630? Bigger engines, with a SEA-KEEPER GYRO and I think I'm right in saying cheaper? Be great if this boat has bigger engines against its competitors.
The bigger the engine the more fuel it burns. You get a higher speed and a higher burn rate but the ROI isn't worth it. 5 to 10 knots extra per hour but double the fuel costs. Personally I'd stick with the smaller engines and keep the fuel savings in my pocket.
I believe that it would be very good if you would be able to make your usual test drive with Azimut Magellano 25M as it is superb very modern design trawler style boat. However as always it was pleasure to see you testing this boat on rough seas.
@@michaellui74 Certainly, we always like to test proper offshore boats when we can! I know you didn't anticipate the nasty part of the weather, but she rose to the challenge of the sea and wind conditions and kept you all safe. She just keeps going on, on, on and on. A gusty Lady of the Sea.
Your audio is all over the place, i.e. not consistent. You speak soft sometimes and louder other times and sometimes trail off. Wear a wireless mic and it will be consistent. Outside, you blast and inside you're soft.
A darn Shame they just went bankrupt April 2020 . Boat deserved to be a success but I don’t think they had the money to really promote it , outside of Southampton boat show it never appeared at the big European shows .
