@BigMaraIppo He might need to make a deal with DuPont to be able to use their Kevlar trademark in such a manner. But I personally prefer the name he's got rn.
After having had a go at the playtest, I can happily affirm that you once again have come up with some seriously good shit. Not that there was any doubt. Mechanics are tight, art style is clean, and the writing is bloody hilarious. Also, you should put your name in the title, just to make a Tom Clancy joke.
I feel like the seal over the doors should look more like a magical seal - even if all that was added was a pentagram over the planks that disappears after a second.
bright is a low-magic setting, and the way theyve executed that is making the fantasy elements absolutely never come up in any meaningful way. tactical breach wizards dares to be silly and creative with who gets magic and how
Hey Tom, first of all, the game looks amazing, I can't wait to play it! Second of all, I just wanted to tell you that years ago I started game development on your gamemaker noxp tutorials, and recently I have landed a design job at a game studio. I am super inspired by your work, and thank you for starting me down the path.
It's looking awesome! It's been on my wishlist for quite some time, I hope I can get in the beta. I love all your games and i'm sure i'm going to love this one too, keep up the good work :)
I searched for this game like a year ago cause I saw a video at that time and I didn't found it bc I searched in Liked and fav videos... Today I was clearing the channels that I follow and found this channel and the game. I signed for the beta and im happy now
Love the rewind mechanic (assuming that is staying in, and isn’t just to make it easier to demo). Also love the bit of them chatting on the tube, I miss the tube
Duuuude I commented on your video 2 years ago about the possible ideas for units (mine was firefighter pyromancer) it's great to see all the improvement you've made, keep it up!
I've never played a game of this genre, and I was skeptical until I saw this video. The rewind feature seems to be a really good way to try things out, making it seem more accessible to me as someone who has never played e.g. Invisible Inc I'm really excited to play it!
looking pretty polished already! Any chance this is coming to Switch? I re-bought invisible inc for it, it's such a great way to play this kind of small-scale tactics game...
Ever since I watched the first video on this game, I have been interested. I wish you best, and hope this game lives up to not just your expectations, but ours too.
See earlier dev videos. There was at least one boss-level treat - an enemy Traffic Mage who can summon three lanes of ghost cars and had a very big healthbar.
The screenshake on that lightning effect is unpleasant; it's so wide and slow that my eyes lose their tracking on the scene. Tight and fast would be better imo Definitely looks like a cool game! As a fan of Invisible Inc and Into the Breach, I'm going to keep an eye on this!
I can understand the reason behind the change of Jen’s character design and backstory, but i really hope that the old design, or at least the witch hat with the sillitoe tartan is available as a skin
Having played the previous beta I'm super glad they've been waiting to release more. I honestly enjoyed the beta though I felt like it was almost a bit too grounded and not magical (as in that the magic just felt like reskinned guns) but the little hints about the worldbuilding and dialog are crazy exciting and the combos being shown off here (as well as the ability to seal the reinforcement doors) are all very encouraging. Take your time with this one Tom! Can feel the makings of a classic!
So I loved the preview. Any chance this will come to the Switch? *(unlike the previous game this could fairly easy be ported from a control scheme point of veiw.)
5:35 I suposse by that empty slot at the left that there will be more characters, am I right? Any hints on what could an hypotethical 3rd class would be?
