Really sucks when you're a game dev that always makes bad endings in games and you accidentally make a good ending and have to put in a last minute twist.

That second bad end was so absurd that Manly become Mickey Mouse for a bit. Like good grief that was so Final Destination lmaoo. It caught me off guard.

Yeah it's a Happy End since everyone was pitying her, and she loved it. So much so, she ended up getting the boy she wanted. Though at the last scene, I think she killed herself BECAUSE there was no one left to pity her, she was actually happy which I guess made her sad sooo...

Oh, so there was no curse after all. She was depressed because everybody seemed to resent her existence, even her own parents didn't want her. When the nurses pitied her she felt love for the first time, in a messed up way. That was the first time someone actually cared for her. Now she tries to recreate that moment over and over again. That wish makes her run in front of cars, trip over herself on purpose, burn her own house down and choose to inherit her parents' dept. That was all her own doing. She longs for misery. Saiko is the one who started the rumor that she is cursed. Nana was right to stay away from her, she is dangerous. Poor thing, I just don't understand why she ran in front of a train in the end. She had everything she ever wanted together with the MC... Oh well, I guess that's Charon for ya.

*I would run away but since Manly Kun says she's cute I'll just accept death.*

"I thought we were getting a happy ending." Really Manly? This is Charon we're talking about. They HATE happy endings. I never once saw in any of their games that there was a happy ending. XD But oh well...it really is amazing to see how far Charon has gotten with their games and art. And I think they have gotten better with their stories too.

Manly saying "this writer just like to SLAP the reader" is the most accurate description of Charon I've ever heard. Oh my god that was so funny.

I find it kinda funny that we're so used to hit and runs in horror games that no one questions the fact that the driver who just hit a girl didn't bother to stop and do anything about it.

When Manly's voice morphs into Mickey Mouse unintentionall, that's when you know shit hit the fan.

Yeah, happy end. It's like a final meal before execution. Because her life is full of pain and misery, it's at that moment when she finds true happiness she doesn't think she'll ever be happier than that because of how rare/unfamiliar it is. And in not wanting to only go down hill from there, she ends her life on the happiest (and possibly only truly happy) moment of her life. Ending on a high note. Just my interpretation.

(Somewhat) Happy ending to a Charon route is throwing me off, even if Saiko did turn out to be a psychopath. But it’s weird. Her parents did kinda deserve it. It’s so disgusting to imagine that mentality towards a child. No wonder she’s insane.

Wow, after watching this for the second time, the Bad end where you end you ran over being called "Substitute" takes on a new level of meaning. But something major also shines here, the fact that is called anything really just adds to the fact that she doesn't actually care about you or about what happened to you, hell I'd be suprised if she even came to help at all, or just to sell the facade till you die. In less words what I mean is, you are her supply of pity, you died so she needs a substitute.

When you die, the girl has a change of personality, being a tsundere and a yandere, blaming you for everything and saying you dying is her destiny but also your fault baka- Correct Ending True End Girl: Watching the girl die everyday in a torture chamber. Everyday she so happy she is dying while you watch her till all your emotion get suck away and you too are used to seeing her die the next day(ahem next game ahem), before she dies, she spouts another deep screwed up philosophical quote - Correct Ending Normal End Girl: You like the girl but you know she is 1 in a million and Charon, the girl's mother, keeps her in a dungeon. When both of you hold hands and walk towards the sunset, Charon will mock and berate you as a filthy normie.- Correct Ending

I cant help but notice whenever these games have an anime girl as an antagonist they get all the pity XD Like literally all the ones I've watched where a male is the abuser people are roasting him in the comments but whenever its a cute anime girl everyone's like " man I wonder what made her this way ". Society be creating their own double standards smh

After hearing Manly said that this game is graphical, I decided to play the game myself and watch Japanese let's play along side to see the tone of the expression, so I don't misinterpret things. And yeah, I agree with people here that The Fourth Roll (route 4)'s endings are not healthy. Since Manly won't be able to post those endings or maybe even the entire chapter, I'll just say that the endings, especially the bad ends are basically Red Rooms content. While the CGs are not that brutal, but the words used to describe the act of 1 bad end and the idea of Red Rooms itself are very unhealthy. Luckily, Route 4 has the weakest writing and in my opinion 祭子 (4th Saiko) has the weakest characterization, so it's not too bad to skip over it. On the side note, Route 1,2 might also have some issues with RU-vid concerning nudity. Route 3...I don't know...I can't describe it without spoiling it... Route 6 is standard Charon's work.

Ohhhh man, that ultra rare moment when a videogame is so batshit crazy absurd that it catches a seasoned badass like Manly off guard and temporarily turns him into Mickey mouse... I will never not love these moments, simply _cherish-able!_

I was enthralled by the plot but after getting to the end, I kind of hate this. It's not that it's badly written, something about the message of 'if you reach out to someone undoubtedly struggling, you'll just be used by them' rubs me so wrong. The creator sounds like an edgelord.

Holy shit. I've been watching these Charon games grow and improve since I was a teenager, and I couldn't be more amazed!

I know setting her parents ablaze is messed up, but in a way, I'm kinda glad it's there. Given everything she's been through and the context, it kinda humanized her (at least I think it does). Who wouldn't go crazy with a life like that? P.S. I'm gonna ignore that train part though fam. Lol

Before I checked the description for the name, I thought Manly said the game was called "Side Girl Psycho" and I thought this would be about an extra character going crazy and killing everyone else so they finally have attention. (Still could be a Yandere story, tho! She spares the protagonist cuz she wanted his attention specifically. Plus, "Meta"-rou?) Edit: IT'S NENENE FROM MENHERAFFALESA! (Or however you spell it!) She was my favorite, I can't wait to see the others. That's probably my most watched Charon game Manly's played, each route is interesting, or at least is made funny by him. The only one I don't like was the blue haired one.

Spoilers to a game manly has already played ahead: The purple hair girl is from one of their old games. She's the rich girl who is later forced into a arranged marriage. She finds out you were being bullied and ends up killing the bullies. She then gains a blood lust because of it and in the true ending, she ends up killing MC because of her blood lust. When she said that you never really know what's precious until you lose it, I think she's saying that she regrets killing MC in the true end.

So, i went and downloaded the game, i played the game, i finished game. The entire night where i played it felt like a long fever dream, ngl. Between the impostors, the corpses, the shotguns, and everything, it was absolutely wild.

I wonder what the relationship between a blunt sarcastic dude and their yandere would be.
