In fact that match showed how poor Nigeria is.... they had no speed nor power and didn’t know what to do with the ball even against a very weak side..... if it was not for these huge mistakes by Tahiti Nigeria would have never found a way to score a goal...... So yeah they celebrated cause they knew they didn’t deserve to win by such a margin
@@henrichvonstaufenberg4841 no speed I’m surprised you said that about an African team lol you blind did you see mousas 1 2 with that guy in the first half
It's like a test that has 7th grade math questions and the Nigerians were at 10th grade level while the tahiti players were at 2nd grade level. If the Nigerians score 90%, it wouldn't be that impressive as the tahiti players scoring 20%.
I just realized that when you do not even expect a team to do something, getting 1 goal back will be much more surprising and exciting to watch than it used to be
Buen gol el de Tahití, buen centro y mejor cabezazo, en ese ángulo y con la altura de los nigerianos no cualquiera le hace un gol de cabeza, más de uno le erra, mucho mérito!!!
The fact they made a goal in champions of continents tournament. And dont forget their islands are small, some islands sized smaller than Football field. Tahiti also a very respected team in world Beach Football.
Tahiti were: 25/1 against Nigeria 150/1 against Uruguay 200/1 against Spain I found some (in)comparable bets: When England were to face San Marino in the World Cup qualifiers, San Marino were underdogs with odds ranging from 50/1 up to 150/1. 2. When Tottenham Hotspur went to face Marine F.C. in the most lopsided FA Cup tie ever, the odds for Marine ranged from 33/1 to 50/1. 3. The 2022 FIFA World Cup finals will be happening in November & December and the competition fired up odds between 750/1 and 1000/1 for Costa Rica.
TheMike91096 That's not true bro. The second stage of the Oceania qualifying served as OFC nation cup, Tahiti won the tournament therefore they made it to the confederation cup. However there was a final qualifying with the nations who played in the semi of round 2. New Zealand finished top in the qualifying and they got the 0.5 spot. From the preliminary draw before the OFC half spot is playing the CONCACAF half spot, therefore Mexico beat New Zealand and Mexico advance. There was no way that OFC half spot would playing against Uruguay.

Nigeria is one of the best footballers in the world, i just pray the wicked government will spare some money to renovate our football, i want to relive the days of okocha and kanu nwankwo,
That first goal is ridiculously unlucky. Deflects off the referee to give Nigeria the ball, then a double deflection off two defenders from the shot to wrongfoot the keeper
el partido pudo haber quedado 3-1 o 2-1 pero Tahití no supo defender bien es una lastima que esa afición tan bonita no pudo ver mas de su selección en Brasil 2013
