Thank you for demonstrating this so beautifully, & without verbal instructions. I used to do this form 30 yrs ago, but when I moved on, there was no one to do it with. Over the years, (I'm 75yrs now) I'd forgotten each movement, & would love to do it again. So I was thrilled to come across this. I was enthralled. Thank you so much.
GRAZIE
I love this video, love the music. Love that there is no instruction as I watch another video with instructions. Slightly different movements. Your movements are easier except the spinning wheel. She only does 3 times each side. I had a brain injury at birth so starting Qigong 3 months ago is helping.
I have watched a few videos on Tai Chi Qigong 18 Form. I just came across your demonstration video. I must say this is the best video on this 18 Form. It's so graceful and the flow is so smooth connecting 1 Form to the nest Form. Thank you so much for sharing. Awesome...!!!
This is what we need for the human/ universal family 🙏💝,take care of ourselves, spiritual exercise, tai chi and giving, for mind ,body, 👅 and spirit!!! Amen!😂😢😮😅😊😊🎉🎉🎉😢💝⛱️🏖️⛔🦟🥝🪰♠️🌍🎉🏫🏫👑🎉🌍🌍😘😁💟♂️🌍🌍🌍👑👑👑👑👑👑
Profesora Vivían,. ! Que fluidez, que maravillosa armonía, que sencilles en los movimientos más complejos. Desde Cuba, el grupo de Qi Gong " El Framboyan" , la felicitamos y le damos las gracias por tan bello regalo para nuestra salud. STA Clara, Cuba
I was blessed to learnt this from chinese Master ,he is over 90 now, and practice it nearly all my life. Most important part breathing is not mentioned. When Master watches a student he observes how skilfully naturally you synchronise movements with breathing. Breath is Chi which is moved with a mind through movements. Master also taught what meridian to concentrate on where energy running and which finger to look at in each movement. I can see her gaze at the pointing finger, which is right, but this is not taught for the viewers. Better find a Master on RU-vid who explains thoroughly not to learn with bad habits my Master's advice🌬🕊🛶🌚🌈🌊🙏
This looks so beautiful, powerful and peaceful at the same time! I’ve been practicing tai chi for arthritis, but will try add this to my routine. Thank you for this beautiful and clear video.
🙏Beautifully done ♥️ It's such a shame that we couldn't see what the feet were doing. I wish it could be re-filmed again, showing the full body at all times.
Thanks to this. I just followed once and I feels obvious benefits for my entire body. It's truly impressive. I mean I knew that practicing Tai Chi would give you some benefits, but I never thought it'd be this much. Thank you very much.
@@BalanceForLife my backpain is totally gone as long as I do at least 3 to 4 times a week. But I'm trying to do it regularly, because I could feels my body getting better.
So glad I found this today! My mum does this daily but due to different schedules I can't always be with her. I'm just starting out and this is so clear! 感恩!Thank you so much!
I am so happy that both you and your mom are doing this Qigong form together (and on your own)! I am so thankful that you shared the beautiful story of loving connection here, and I am honored that this video played a small part in your story. ❤️🤗
Thank you so much it is Like a prayer. 🙏 I completely aware of about energy when I doing with you this episode! I think I am ready for start to learn❤❤
thank you very much for this upload. I have 2 herniated discs and cannot even do physio work or swim at the moment because that involves changing clothes and tha tis too challenging for me. This is really helping me with natural movement and anxiety
Thank you for this video. Just accidentally found it after following Master Wing Cheung for some time now. Yours is much clearer with the contrasting background and a closer camera angle. My inadequacy is the breathing technique as I have totally no idea when to breathe in and out. Please help.
I am happy that you find this video helpful! Our videographer Nate is simply amazing! The general rule about breathing is, as you are gathering in the energy, breathing in, as you are sending out the energy, breathing out. Rising, breathing in; sinking, breathing out. Sometimes, if you just relax into your body’s natural wisdom, the clarity will come effortlessly. 加油!👍😃
@@VivienChaoTaichiQigong Hi Ms Chao, thanks for the reply and tip on breathing. I shall try as you recommended. All the best in your spreading the wholesomeness of Shi Ba Shi.

Thank you so much, found it by chance while looking at other Qi Gong videos. Yours is well explained although no words and it’s beautiful. It would be nice to know how the breathing coordinates or is it just natural. Thank you so much. 🌷❤️
I have adapted this for use in a wheelchair, everything except for Turning the Wheel of Dharma and Knee and Heel Raises. Thank you for sharing this wonderful video.
Hello, I have been surprised, how this practicing fixed my pain in my back, relaxed my mine, than got better my work focusing ang got better my body pain. First I have much doubt And didn't Believe it works, but it do. 🙂🙂🙂
Vivien! So beautiful, graceful, harmonious and mesmerizing! Thank you for the Divine joy I received by watching your video and practicing with you! I am so grateful to the RU-vid for leading me to your channel! I've been searching for weeks for the ONE that totally resonates with my inner world! Very grateful to you, Vivien! You just enriched my journey! Irina. Life Path 33.
The initial step is to breathe naturally. Gradually, you will discover where and how your body wants to inhale and exhale. Relax and let your body guide you. When you've practiced for a while, your body will become accustomed to and enjoy breathing slowly and deeply. In some other qigong exercises, breath-holding is required, but the ShiBaShi is gentle and natural, with no need to hold your breath. During the first form - Opening and Regulating the Breathing, adjust the speed of your breathing according to your physical condition and find a comfortable and natural deep breathing state. During the second form - Opening Your Heart, make your deep breathing slightly deeper while still keeping it comfortable. This is your correct breathing rate, so don't force yourself. Enjoying the process is the key. 😉
I absolutely love your style, the setting, and music. I have a question, before the punching I was surprised that we didn’t repeat the last 3 parts on our other side, with our other foot forward. Should we be doing that? I appreciate your response. And thank you again for sharing your beautiful practice with everyone! It is greatly appreciated!
I am happy that you like the style, setting, and music. Thank you! Originally, this is only a video intended to demonstrate all 18 moves so the repetitions are being reduced to the minimum. For your own practice, please do both side! (Side 1: Becoming one, pushing the waves, flying dove. And then side 2: Becoming one, pushing the waves, flying dove.) Thank you for this great question Robin!
@@VivienChaoTaichiQigong Thank you so much for the beauty you bring into our lives with your water like moves and graceful appearance... so wonderful. :))
