At 9:03 in Roanoke I remember railfanning there over the summer! Awesome cab shots! You should have waited until one of the soccer teams scored and honked for the goal.
What a great ride. Roanoke was my home for 16 years. Loved the views coming into the city by the maintenance buildings, newspaper, and transportation museum.
I saw that museum had one of the electric locomotives from Pennsylvania RR there's one sitting in NJ out in the weather too. It's a shame they don't seem to care that those locomotives are rare

I wouldn't mind living in a house like that one at 7:09 and at 7:16 it doesn't seem like a bad place to stop a train when there's a soccer game going. Any other time it must be boring.
What's up with the car at 9:07? What so if you wanna watch a soccer game you just pull up ya wagon. I can dig that. Does your train go over 5mph? The train graveyard was a bit scary. Reminded me of 'the ghost train'. Thanks for uploading.
+Raven Roth its called Making Friends!!! If you make some friends then you can get a Cab ride and if you get a cab ride you can not tell anybody that you got to do it until that person has retired from the railroad
Now it is. I mean its always been I believe but since the more recent incidents caused by crew members being on their phone it was really cracked down upon. Hence why he or a lot of the old railroader youtube channels never upload anymore
