Lovely! Why is there always a troll that doesn't like something like this? Who ever clicked on the thumbs down should change to thumbs way up!!!! awesome playing!
love all this stuff .... tried returning to playing with my old semi acoustic guild .... really struggled then swapped to uke .... and having a great time .... thanks so much for the instruction ....
One of my favorite songs and Gerald, you are a master of the Uke! I have never heard this arrangement on a Ukulele and your enjoyment playing it makes it that much more fun to watch and listen to! Take the A train my friend!!
❤how wonderful- swinging so beautifully- and you are really a master of this instrument- I’d love to develop just 1/3 of the skills that you have on this wonderfully sounding Uke
Hi Gerald, I have been admiring your playing technique for quite some time now. So effortless which is how all great musicians make music look. Do you have any plans to publish any of your arrangements so that we mere mortals could attempt to emulate you (perhaps too grandiose a thought) Just great relaxing music. Thanks again. Ben
Hi Benjamin, Thanks for the good words. Sorry, but I have no immediate plans to publish my arrangements. I do however teach various aspects of Swing Uke and my style at Ukulele festivals around the world. Check out my performance schedule on my website. www.geraldross.com Thanks.
Awesome uke and wonderfull, beautifully played arrangement. I was also thinking about arranging this but I think I will quit ... I can't match this version.
Yeah, not bad I suppose. I mean, you know, if you insist on playing the best 'A' train ukulele version I've ever heard. Go ahead if you really must. Me, I've just about mastered the fourth line of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star on my new ukulele but let me tell you my playing on those first three lines is sublime!
