As a Progressive, I do not agree w Alyssa's policies, but I respect that she comes to the table prepared on Hot Topics. She's informed, cool-headed, poised and articulate.
Cool headed 😮? Shes like a wound up rabbitt jumping up and down in her chair, waving her hands, over caffeninated and over there! She has intelligent comments sure but her delivery is often giggling or grinning out of all proportion. So she can be very annoying.
She's cool headed yes, but she's often actually misinformed. Plus, all she uses is media talking points like the rest of them. I think Alyssa is a opportunist personally, because if her tone was very different when she worked at Fox News.
When Sunny clarified her statement 3:41 that women who vote for Haley because she’s a woman will vote against their own reproduction rights, Sara chimed in to play down Sunny’s position by calling it a “single issue voting.” Which is nonsense because there can be more than one voting issue that affects voters.😮

If you're claiming that there can be more than one reason someone doesn't vote for Hayley then yep. We the group was saying women will come out to vote for abortion that will be the main focus. Sara is pointing out that for some they dont/can't vote like that is. If you're mainly or only thing you care about is climate or abortion then yes you probably are in a position of privilege.
Sunny was saying they’re voting against their own interests. It makes no sense for Sara to then say they may be voting for her because of another issue. So what, they’ll still be dumb enough to vote against their own interest if they vote for her in that case. If you are a woman who’s still fertile and you vote for Haley because of her stance on, say, gun control, you’re still condemning yourself to a miserable fate if you then have an unwanted pregnancy or one with medical issues that threaten the foetus’ health or life or yours. It doesn’t make those voters less stupid.
I'm 67 now, but when I was around 30 years of age, I had an ectopic pregnancy and it took the doctors over a week to figure out what was wrong with me. And that was after my fallopian tube burst and I was bleeding internally!!! Worst pain I've ever experienced. It all ended with emergency surgery! Finally they figured out it was emergency!

All of this reminds me of what the late Debbie Reynolds wrote in her book about having to endure carrying her dead, unborn child for a month. I can't imagine any woman having to deal with the pain of something like that in any situation. 😢
I love Joy. I don't always agree with her, and sometimes I believe her opinions are not well informed, but she has a wealth of life experience and she speaks from it, candidly and with gusto. Plus, she makes me laugh. Go, girl! 💖

I agree on Haley or DeSantis are better then Trump. If he s convicted and sentenced to jail, a pardon could also lessen the sentence. I would be fine with him not going to jail, but never being able to run for public office and being on house arrest.

Agreed! I tend to lean more left, but I LOVE hearing Alyssa POV. She’s very fair and can criticize both sides. Same with Sara! They both provide educated reasons for their positions. They’re both valuable to the show!

My grandmother asked the priest permission for her tubes to be tied in 1949 he said "no" and she went on to have 7 kids with my grandfather. All 7 kids were filled with mental illnesses and criminality.
Abortion isn’t a “single issue”- it is a reflection of how delicate our democracy is and the idea of humanity and empathy rests with law makers in the USA. If abortion rights go away, what’s next to go? The right to have a credit card without a man’s name on it?! The right to vote or hold public office? Slippery slope.

I have my alarms and my recorders set to see the show that comes on all over the country at 11:00 a.m. I could have not be more proud and supportive to watch a group of beautiful, classy, strong opinionated, intelligent women, from all walks of life, multiple cultures and all nationalities with similar commonalities to come together and make this show a success. Please, Please, Please STOP talking over each other PLEASE!!!🛑🫸🫸🏿🚫 It is soooo difficult to hear your points of views. Primarily, it's simply "RUDE"!!! Whoopi's facial expressions says it all!🤨 You all have been displaying this rude behavior all week long!!! Oh My God, Alyssa (REALLY?) was absolutely AWFUL yesterday!!! I'm really sick of Joy Interrupting Whoopi when she is making a really good point, or just in general, she is always interrupting Whoopi as if she has something of importance to say and it's never as important as what Whoopi has to say it's normal just her taking cheap digs or bitching. Whoopi is actually trying to be part of the conversation, while Joy is having her own conversation, and no one else is involved in it.
