Was also at the show thanks for getting the whole set! I typically record full dmb shows myself but only shot a few for this just to relive my years of seeing TBS and other bands in the genre better. Saw your bio and I too was a huge Linkin Park fan as a kid and was devastated when chester and chris cornell passed so close to each other.
I agree, we’re not being haters and jealous of their success like some of their defenders are saying here. It’s just, this band used to sound great live, and they don’t sound very good at all the last few years, and the only thing keeping them from sounding great are the vocals. We know he has sounded good in the past, so it makes it all the more jarring hearing whatever this is. I don’t know if I can even call this singing anymore, it’s like mumbling words and sounding out of breath every song of every show. I can’t really say his singing is bad, cause I don’t think I can call this singing. It’s just frustrating seeing a band with a legacy like this sounding like bad karaoke. Bottom line is., the way this band sounds now is to where I would recommend someone not spend money to see them, because the vocals are embarrassing and it’s confusing how he can be okay with sounding like this. To be clear, I saw them with Coheed a few years ago and he sounded exactly like this. It was all mic swinging and awkward dancing and hyping the crowd up, but not much actual singing, its the mumbling through the words and sounding so out of breath he doesn’t even bother singing half of those words. It’s a headscratcher, and I hope he addresses this by getting some vocal lessons or something. The band sounds great like they always have, but none of that matters when the vocals are just holding it all back from coming together as a tight live band.
@@no0channel0at0allI saw them live not too long ago n Adam was being super freakin weird and also wasn’t good live. I feel like he might be on meth secretly or something to be honest. N this is coming from an ex meth addict. That was the energy he was giving off.
It’s a shame, the band themselves sound great. But his voice? What the hell happened? Does he just not give a shit anymore or is there some reason for it? It’s like bad karaoke, and it’s so bad it’s just distracting. It’s sad this is what they sound like live now. It’s mind boggling they can’t be okay with this, he needs to do something about it, cause in my opinion this is maybe ruining the legacy of this band. Less mic swinging and awkward dancing and more singing the damn songs like you’re proud of them.
@@boxcharlesthey stopped touring for a long time. Probably lost his voice. Also I don’t believe the other members are original because the guitarists weird screaming voice wasn’t good either. I saw them right before the went hiatus years ago. They were spotless live.
@@Antonius1102it all depends on what you mean by “original”, but that is definitely the original guitarist/singer (he sang in studio for all albums expect Where You Wanna Be, Louder Now, and New Again).
yall are mad about how they preform, theyve been doing it 20 years, theyre bound to not sound like they did in the past. they have and always will kick ass! so grateful they never gave up on their fans
Plenty of bands have been playing for even longer and don’t sound like dog shit AFI has been doing it for over 30 years and Davey still crushes the vocals
The used has been been together for 24 years and still sound the same. Their concerts get better every year from already being amazing! These guys played before the used last night in okc and let me tell you it was sad watching this band. The lead singer is on so many drugs. The band just looks annoyed. So sad!
i can probably understand both guys not trying on the old songs but the new songs are badly sung also. this has been going on for some time now so its not like they are having a bad day. people say adam is on meth or some other hard drug ... hope they are wrong.
Why do I feel like Adam sings the old songs extra poorly on purpose? He’s never been good live in the first place, but the older songs sound especially bad
I know tbs personally and they care zero about the negative feedback. The haters are just mad they’ll never do anything this impressive. They’ll never add anything of meaning to this world. They’ll just live and die nobodies.
I've been a huge fan since TAYF. I've bought everything they've ever released, and I'll keep doing so, because I'm so grateful for them being the soundtrack of my life. BUT we just can't ignore they haven't been that great in the last few years, and it's disappointing to see how it stands now - especially Nolan. Unfortunately, the vocals are below average, to say the least. TBS never cared much about feedbacks - and they'll keep doing so - but it's worrying to see them performing like this. I'd definitely go to their show if they ever comeback to my country, but I'm really sad to see these vocals.
This is such an immature, teenage response to criticism. "well what have YOU done, YOU couldn't do any better" It's absolutely moronic as a response to legitimate criticism
@@Zerep_siul yes cause we all know Adam and we all love him just the way he sings. He needs vocal support and Fazzi and Fred were amazing to do it, John no.
