Heart Opening Practice: Cultivating an Undefended Heart and Living Authentically with Tara Brach
Join Tara Brach in this inspiring talk on Heart Opening Practice. Drawing on the poet Mark Nepo's phrase “exquisite risk,” Tara explores the willingness to be fully alive, open, and available, living true to our hearts. This session delves into the challenges and blessings of taking this exquisite risk, both in becoming more intimate with our inner life and engaging with others from full authenticity.
In this talk, Tara discusses:
▪️The concept of the “exquisite risk” and its significance
▪️How to cultivate an undefended heart
▪️Techniques for living authentically and connecting deeply with others
▪️The rewards of embracing vulnerability and true presence
Embrace this transformative practice to open your heart and live more authentically.

I was sooooo very busy hating myself and wanting to stop living when I found my way here! Ouch! Having listened only once, right through from beginning to end, hungry for comfort and relief, I did find my way to a gentler place. Thank you to Dr. Joe Schnurr, who first recommended you, Tara Brach! Thank you to RU-vid, Apple, Sasktel, the Canadian federal government, my daughter, the essential oils I breathed in while listening, my cats who slept near by, and on and on .... The endless sources of generosity that did not cross my mind when it was stuck.
