I am new to bike packing, still doing local trips in the 30-mile range, but so far I agree that a tent and a stove are worth the weight, especially if traveling as a pair or more. The video is very inspiring. Thanks and keep at it!

The scenery change in many long distance desert routes are awesome....It's funny how there's always the stereotype that deserts are empty, boring and ugly...but once you experience it for yourself it's amazing!

A pleasure to watch. Nicely done video too. The thorns, I would have left them in the tyre as they are a plug for the hole (they created the hole :-/ ). Just break off near the tyre. Mind not had thorns that big they enter and leave the tyre in different places lol
