I got rid of bungee tie downs after my son in law almost lost a finger to a bungee. I had a problem with a giant loop product and it was replaced with out question. I like the customer service and quality of the product!
Yes, customer service is what you are paying for with brands like GiantLoop, but I doubt they'd replace road rash or exhaust burns bags. I'm always killing my bags, I can't afford that sort of money every time.
I've just ordered the 10L tailbag to see what the quality is like before committing to the saddlebags. Great price! Seem to be a copy of the enduristan.
The cheaper price was holding me back from purchasing these and worried the quality might not be as good as other brands. Still in market for some lugguge so look foward to a longer term review
The Oxford Aqua P32 are a no-brainer, very good bags. I've done a 4 day adv ride with the rhinowalk and they performed well, but not sure on their longevity yet
@@raivisverdins They are still going strong! I pressure clean the bike with them on even. They strap down tight against the bike and do not bounce around. The are good for over nighers in the size I got but the bigger size would be better for multi day camp trips.
Ive been using the rhinowalk clones of kriega US bags. Have a 10L pair and a 20L pair. They have been holding up for a few months with no issues so far.
I just bought the Rhinowalk 1428 panniers, on the strength of this video. Only time will tell how long they last, but the quality and the fit seem to be very good. Why would you buy Kriega, Enduristan, Mosko etc. at two or three times the price ??
Any update on water proofing? I am interested in the 2 x 24L for a pan european trip of 2 months. They seem decent and cheap enough. But dont want to have to order replacement in romania
Only don the one 4 day trip so far. But it was hardcore riding in parts and they performed well. Not as easy to pack as the Oxford P32, manage to get a sleeping bag in one side but not much room left for other stuff.
The material is a bit on the thin side. I have a hole in one bag after dragging the bike in the dirt once. I think for the price they are ok but they would be better with a thicker gauge matterial
The Oxford Aqua p32 packs a lot better than the oddly shaped Rhinowalks. There wasn't a lot of space left after putting a sleeping bag in the rhinowalk, where I'd get 2 in one oxford bag.
i got the 28L few weeks back. got the heat shield as well. The heat shield is pretty much useless as its to small, the large metal clip to fit around the exhaust doesnt even fit and I have an akro, it runs out when tightening and this is a 1000. Purchased from Adventure on store, when buying it ,they responded all the time, before i purchased it, as soon as i purchased and then advised about the heat sheild and how doesnt fit, never heard back again, and ive sent 3 emails to them asking...heat shield was $30, . Bags appear to be good quality so far so good...
