lol i find it funny how aggressively they keep strumming their guitars. and boy oh boy andrew is going *hard* on the keyboard, headbanging and everything
All these years later this is still infinitely better than the Ruler of Everything performance where Rob and Zubin’s mics weren’t even turned on lmao in hindsight the haters were ingrates in comparison
man i feel so bad, they are so incredibly good but you can tell they are so nervous that they didnt perform at their best. im sure they beat themselves up over this one. its a shame
I've gotta say, I can't imagine how hard it would be to pull off a live performance that good on a talk show. Really! Time is so limited for sound check, there is usually NO rehearsal time at all. Just the set up of all their stuff must have used up whatever time was allotted for "Musical guest set up." I somehow missed this band when they first were on the scene. I actually heard about them from my kid a few months ago! I'm a professional musician and teacher and retired classical/opera singer and from my perspective, knowing how any kind of TV thing is organized due to time constraints and union contracts, the fact that they sounded as good as they did is astonishing. As I watched this I was thinking if I'd been in the audience for that taping I would've been completely blown away!
With all the modulations and tempo changes and everything this song does, it's gotta be pretty hard to play as good live as the studio recording. I thought they did awesome!
I guess they're too used to the album version. The live version of a song always has slight mistakes, especially with songs like this that are REALLY hard to perform live.
bruh this is a very standard live performance, they did incredibly considering they have 3-4 people singing at once? whoever hates on this has never seen a live performance in their lives lmao
MARVINS MARVELOUS MECHANICAL MUSEUM - IS FACING THE WRECKING BALL, The City of Farmington Hills has pretty much nailed Marvin's Museum for demolition as the landlord wants to demolish the whole TALLY HALL or what's left of the mall and put in a MEIJER'S and 3 major stores and three stand alone restaurants near Orchard Lake Rd. His fate will be known February 12, 2024. @ 7:00 PM City hall 31555 Eleven Mile Rd, Farmington Hills, MI 48334. You wanna save the mall this is your last chance to let the City you want to Save Marvin's.
This performance was really good, ppl are just saying bad stuff because they were nervous. Imagine having to play for a whole live TV show, which gets aired, and performed in front of a lot of people already. It takes talent to keep going while you’re nervous.
I think overall they were fine. Sure they were nervous at the beginning but they warmed up quickly. Also it says this video was released in 2014 but there are comments from 11-12 years ago what's up with that?
