It's in this album probably because it's just a cover of the song "Smile Like You Mean It" by the Killers. Like it was finished, just couldn't be released in tally hall's first studio album.
this song hits 10x harder to hear my literal childhood artist (happy monster band & crayola ad) sing "and someone is playing a game in the house that i grew up in." absolute masterpiece.
Oh my goodness!!!!! This cover is so good! How did I know about the existence of this one?? the CHORUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE THIS
Save some face, you know you've only got one Change your ways while you're young Boy, one day you'll be a man Oh, girl, he'll help you understand Smile like you mean it Smile like you mean it Looking back at sunsets on the East Side We lost track of the time Dreams aren't what they used to be Something's slide by so carelessly Smile like you mean it Smile like you mean it And someone is calling my name (from the back of the restaurant) And someone is playing a game (in the house that I grew up in) And someone will drive her around down the same streets that I did On the same streets that I did Smile like you mean it Smile like you mean it Smile like you mean it Smile like you mean it Oh, no, oh, no, no, no Oh, no, oh, no, no, no No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no...
The killers are my all time favourite band, and Tally Hall are my current favourite. This is a dream come true. This cover is making me choke up it's so fucking good
I’m moving away from where I’m living. This isn’t my first move at alllll, it’s actually my 8th. However, this one hits the hardest because I’m finally at the age where I could hang out with my friends all the time without adult supervision. That & I also really enjoy the people I’ve met here. This song hits super had due to that, especially since I found tally hall here
@@everythingpizzaandknuckles6268I remember a while ago someone on the needlejuice server said this song would be almost impossible to release since Warner brothers still own the rights to this, but there’s always that possibility.
