This was the first Tama that i ever got. Honestly, probably because it was my first, this was my favorite one. I had a petithanatchi, but I wasn't able to pronounce it so I named her Patricia.

Honestly it's no surprise how poorly the tamagotchi does in america considering how AWFUL their marketing is. I think hot topic will be one of the best places to sell it because i feel like a lot of teens will buy it out of pure nostalgia.
I also saw this on eBay and thought I had never seen it before and even thought about going on the Tama forums to ask people! Haha so funny that this is how everyone found out! Great review, I figured if anyone would know about these Tamas it would be you!
my friends and i literally all bought this at hot topic yesterday, and we havent been able to put it down! it's my first ever tamagotchi ;w;/ so its all so new to me
RaTamaZone yeah I bought both of mine there. They also have the little toy figures. And I think it was either $8 or $14 for the dream town tamagotchi. Really good price I thought. It's by the dolls section... I've seen them on an end cap too :-D
Hey Ra, I have the pup,e plaid design. Picked it up at Hot Topic for $15. I have a question. I filled the bff heart completely and it played the ending that I opened both locked games, but when I went into games, it only opened one of the locked games. Any ideas on this? Thanks

Omg I'm so confused both me and my friend have wave/version 1 but mine doesn't have a colour background round the icons OMGGGGGGGGG and mine is kinda wierd in a place it feels like it's been taken apart then put back together but mine was supposed to be brand new just without a box and my friends is in better condition than mine cause also the paint is coming off mine!! OMG PLEASE TELL ME WHATS HAPPENING
the paint coming off is normal, tamagotchi friends european version its kinda the worst tamagotchi... i have the "cat" desing one and now its all white lmao
the PS are SUPER expensive but the dream town isn't color, you should either get a dt or a 4u, they're $27-29 on amazon, get the DT for $15 if you want to save cash
While I'm happy that the tamagotchi brand has been revived, I'm sad that this is the form the reboot has taken. The poor quality product is going to lead to bad sales which will make future releases less likely.
