Turned out great! I was a bit sceptical when you said PS1, but I must say the white wing tied in great with the white lettering on the body.😍

Glen Thats way good enough for a runner , brother you dont give yourself enough credit, some would be happy with that as a shelfie , seriously it looks a treat and running will look even better zooming around, totally love the TRF stickers on the shell , makes it look Tough , well any TRF in Tamiya is way cool , cheers Glen For another great video :-)

Looks great Glen.. What gives me the hump is the Finnish on that for you is it’s just a runner shell.. In my world if I could get a shell to look like that I would have it it a display cabinet🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣.

It actually looks pretty good! I can see were you were going with the silver,maybe a fade would have worked but I like the plain white and black letter edging contrast better!:) I'd remove the diagonal decal as it obscures the lines of the body and throws off the symmetry + it's to big and just draws your eye to it? I'd be the same with the clear wing! Lol:) that front wheel drive orb has the best handling I've ever seen! Good call on that one!:)

I like that colour. Always preferred a simple nice colour as opposed to crazy designs. In my opinion the wing would look great in the blue window tint/ slightly transparent paint that was used on one of your custom painted TRF shells. Can't remember which one, possibly your egress. Edit: Wrote my comment before finishing video again. White is cool too bud!

You can't be disappointed with that Glenn, I think you made the right call, the white ties in with the white wheels. If the wheels were black then I think the spoiler in black would also look great. Can I ask where you find these TRF cars, I don't see them much on UK Ebay?

I buy a lot of my stuff from the Tamiya Legends sales group tbh, but there’s also a TRF off road group on there, you’ll pretty much find whatever you’re looking for on there my friend 😊👊🏻

It goes on so much better in my opinion. I put Hot/warm water in a cup and sit the can in it for around 10 minutes, give it a couple of shakes within that time 😊👊🏻

@@TAMIYALegends I have the XR upgrade... I think the XMW is the unicorn if you can find one, although then you get into the realms of building a car you cant run because of finding spare parts. Even the body is different and hard to find.

I know you like to but if you were going to try something different on an Avante what might you go for? Not keen on the black Special or TRF looks either

I stumbled across this website this morning... have you heard of them before for repro decals? the files they are using are either redrawn or from the original files... definitely not from a scan. You can even customize the colours. mciracing.ca/collections/tami I'm tempted to give them a try although they are in Canada and I'm in UK
