I got mine at the Wall since 6 years. Its from 1999 i rebuild it in 2015 with two Tamiya Sport Motors black, a new ESC with LIPO compatibility, new oil filled shocks, new Body with stickers (was hard to find and expensive) and one weakpoint all this chassis have they cant Hold the Power of two motors and jumping very long it Just breaks after a few Times. So i used a Carbon Chassis which ist capable of the Power and have room for a 2s LIPO in hardcase. Yes i know its stupid all the money could get me a new better RC but it was my First real Hobbygrade one so its an emotional Thing to me. :) Maybe i can give it to my kids one day. PS.: Mine is blue Like the one of the Box
Not stupid at all, my friend, that the beauty of the hobby. Taking a kit you love, enjoying it, breaking it, modifying it, it's really quite great! And to be able to hand it to your son would be incredible!
bought a vintage Wild Dagger, but could not stand the stock shocks with almost no travel, Got some modified shock towers out of HK, and put two sets Tamiya Yellow CVA,s from a Hot Shot with plenty of travel, expensive modification but works much better, was looking for Monster Racer type suspension, but had to modify to get it done.
Nicely done! Yeah the small shocks on that chassis were indeed an odd choice. I'm actually in the process of collecting parts for a restoration on a Wild Dagger. Almost ready to rebuild
