Im so glad i got to see this. Im a Nashvillian and never missed Dan Miller's show here or on the 6:00 news. I think everyone in Nashville watched and loved Dan. Tammy looked great here. She will always be queen of country music. Is there a part 2? I'd love to see the rest of this. Thanks for sharing it with us!
Great singer and great songs grow up listening to her music from mum and who pass away this year when I hear her music it makes me smile rip to both great lady’s
The man interviewing Tammy in this video, Dan Miller, Passed away April 9-- 11 years three days after Tammy, of a heart attack while watching the practice rounds of the Masters Golf Tournament in Augusta, GA. he was 67.
Tammy was one of a kind.. the most beautiful strong voice with such distinction . And always so honest... I like her better then Loretta or dolly or reba.. just wish Tammy was strong enough to not need a man so bad...and being married... I think she would have been much better off...she must have been a romantic.
I've always pronounced it Wynette, pronouncing it Wynette is a southern thing, I was thinking of moving to Memphis and making it big in Music but I never went through with it, one Elvis is enough in this world I thought, Poor old Tammy went downhill pretty quick not long after this, she looked 85 at 55 at the end, she lives on through the music.
@@MeadeSkeltonMusic I was just joking around, somehow I came across her vids watching Jerry lee lewis vids, I don't remember making this comment but what I meant was I pronounce it Wynette not Wynette like many others, hope that's helpful.
I was just joking around again, Why- nette, not sure what right, I pronounce Elvis' surname Prezley, but many pronounce it Pressly, tomato, tomato, potato, potato
I really liked Basketball. I was a forward also. My last Game was a Tournament. I made 22 points that night. We lost by 1 point. Never forget it. I was only 5'2" tall & FAST. Only about 3-4' from center line. Was Called: "SINK THEM!"
So Tammy had already recorded the album with Dolly and Loretta in 1993. In this video her hair is short, but in the later part of 1993 and 1994 it was long. Did she have hair extensions or what???
The Book "Tragic Country Queen" mentions the fact that Tammy had to have some extensions put in right around that time because so much of her hair was falling out (from her poor health). I'd have to check the book again to see the exact timeframe but just thought I'd bring it up.
And back in the day Tammy always wore a fall. I read where her hairdresser said she always brought 5 of Tammys falls on the bus bc her hair didn't hold up very good onstage and it was easier for her to wear a fall. (A fall is what a long wig was called back then)
Of course she did. She wore stuff in the '60s. Just get a biography and you'll learn all about it. Billy Cheryl did quite a number on her. You have talent like tammy, and you go about your business creating the entire package.
@@charliebradley1979 Oh I meant to also tell you that I use to wait tables. I waited on her and Jan Howard some time in 96, maybe 97. It was a dream come true meeting her.
I was#1 on my red & white Basketball suit. I made 22 points the last Tournament in 1958. I was a forward also. About 3' from center line I could sink the ball into the 🥅 goal. Her life & mine was similar except I was married for 50 year's to a City Guy _ I was a country Girl from an Arkansas FARM. Interesting to her her to tells her Story. I was only 5'2" tall. I think Tammy was taller than I.
