On August 15, 2021 about 2314 hours Tampa fire rescue and Tampa police department received multiple calls about a vehicle fire on Nebraska south of East Broad street with possible extension into a building. Tampa police first on scene confirmed a fully involved vehicle shortly after Tampa fire rescue Engine 11 arrived on scene and requested a working fire file due to the possible extension into the building. Engine 11 was assigned Fire attack while Truck 13 was assigned to force entry into the building to check for extension which at that time was determined the fire was contained to the vehicle with some slight heat damage to the exterior of the building. Situation under control/fire out was approximately 39 minutes after dispatch.
