People can say what they want but Tampa is a stand up town.. Regardless of the neighborhood, there's a lot of pride in the city. Northerners/mid westerners don't get it twisted with the "it's not Detroit/Chicago" shit Florida boys don't play 😉
Not all of Tampa looks like this. I live in one of those neighborhoods and am not particularly bothered by the people who live around me. Then again I don't make a habit out of thinking that I'm better than other people....and we're all just people.

Brings back memories. I live in Seattle now. They have no idea of what a real ghetto is out here. They do not have hoods out here at all. No public housing at all like that in Seattle.
Update: Tampa is working on demolishing alll those projects it was a big project back awhile ago to demolish all of them by now or either 2016 but only Central park village was tore down in 2007 right before the recession which crashed the plan but now its restarting however. Tampa is one city but tampa has a sister dont get it twisted in the Tampa bay area we got about 3 official cities but only 2 thats hood as fuck and dont fuck off thats Tampa and Saint Petersburg and yes we both work together. But i was born and raised in Tampa and i can honestly say right now tampa is in a calm phase back as little as about a year and a half ago and on it was more than 70 shots fired daily,home invasions,break-ins,bank robberies,auto theft etc and all involving guns, before we became Floridas (#1) tax drop city, dope dealers were posted on every the corners and likely found there hours later sprawled out lifeless then we had sexual predators kids would go missing daily in the summer it was nothing but rain and police lights at night. Tampa was crazy back in the day TPD was granted 31millions dollars to lower street crime and i can honestly say TPD has done a good job lowering crime rates although even they are shot hence Tampa get its name TRIGGA CITY because we located at Floridas trigger point on the map. I love my city though we live in TPA.

@@cdubb8185 Tampa ain't super affordable like that $950 you said you pay for 4 br ain't gone find that down here, I was paying $1,085 for a 1 room on West Hillsborough which is a quiet area just the traffic dangerous. It's affordable for the most part though the problem is everybody always snatchin up the affordable apartments so you gotta reserve em quick but yeah $950 for 4brs that impossible to find here. It ain't much to do in Tampa either we don't turn up like that, this city been dead to me for a while.
Lots if unuse lands. I can design a fast rail train south to north of tampa and to Clearwater to orlando . To fix the traffic a bit . Make a better place .
