Hi, I find your videos very detailed and helpful! I am deciding to get either the 7hz zero or the wan'er, I'll mainly use it for watching videos and some classical. Aside from that, I wonder which would sit well in ear better? You mentioned that 7hz seems to not fit well in ear🤔
In regards to the Wan'er and Cadenza, I mostly agree. Every graph I've seen has the Cadenza having better bass response. But the Wan'er surprisingly has a bit more impactful mid-bass. I do find that the Cadenza has more bass extension, though, and I do prefer the bass and overall balance of the Cadenzas. The upper midange and lower treble is a bit more airy and detailed on the Cadenzas. The upper treble is noticeably smoother on the Wan'er, which I kind of prefer. But overall, the Cadenzas are noticeably better to my ears and were worth the extra bit of money. The Wan'er is a great starter audiophile IEM though IMO.
We all know youre just coping cause u spent a whole extra dollars for the Cadenza. Tangzu destroys Cadenza while being a lot cheaper. I know it hurts bud but yea, nice review tho, just a lil bit biased.
Through the dealers Moondrop is set to release 2 further variant / development of the Chu , one is with DSP ( USB- C ) and the other come with detachable cables , no solid info regarding the tuning or alike One thing that goes for the TANGZU is that it's far easier to EQ and dial back some of the power than trying to dialling up on the others And there are more gems and variations in this price bracket and more incoming , by all account it's good news for consumers these represent quality in past years that one need to spend hundred or hundreds of dollars - BRAVO
I def recommend being more clear about which iem you're talking about, it got a bit confusing when you addressed both the zero and wan'er sometimes. Other than that I loved the vid
Thanks for watching and the feedback I’ll keep that in mind for the future. The Wan’er is tuned like a better tuned blon, you keep most of the energy but with a smoother more easy to listen to presentation. If that’s what you’re looking for that’s great, if you’re looking for something to change it up and sound different it may not be the best choice.
@@hackinghifi4247 that's exactly what I want! Thanks for the input, I'm pretty hyped and confident about liking it now. I have the samsons sr850 for a somewhat flat sounding headphones, it's kinda piercing though, but nothing eq can't handle. I like to listen to various types of music but my fav is def energetic ones like insane by black gryph0n and fake type music.
Hi i just brought tangzu waner sg. My first impression is that vocals and instruments sounds great but it's lack a lot of bass. So it's really sounds that way or is it a defective piece?
@@hackinghifi4247 I m using ideal ear tips for my ears but still the bass low. So I increased 10db bass with the help of Equalizer and it helped but it makes vocals sound a bit unnatural. Still undoubtedly a great iem at this price point.
It depends on what you want. From everything I’ve used recently if you want it laid back with more bass easy to listen to for long periods I’d say the hbb QKZ. Tons of bass and very warm and fun to listen to. If you want crisp and clean but with impactful bass I still really love the cca cra which should be easy to get ahold of. Of course if you can spend more you get more options.
How did you get good soundstage out of the 7hz zero? What dac/ dongle do you use? I found the sound stage is not very wide on the zero's compared to my soundcore life dot2 nc (TWS) !! Is there any way to get good sound stage / separation out of these? Or you use high quality expensive gears that extended the stage?😅
Already own the 7hz zeros and I do like the overall presentation of the set. Should I get the Waner as well? I also have the quarks dsp and the set became an instant favourite to me but I also go back to the zeros sometimes bcz I feel like they have slightly better technicalities.
I personally love how the Wan'er sound and present the music. All genres sound great with the wan'er without having to mess with the EQ. I've tried on the LG V60, G8, iphone XR, galaxy S22 and my laptop. I find that with the s22, the volume is on the low side using the apple usb-c dongle, not a whole bunch but it would make a difference if the s22 allowed for about 5 more clicks ( I have the volume assist installed so the volume steps are shorter). I have not tried other dongles because the apple performs well when it comes to noise and power consumption. For my personal taste, I feel like the 7zero is better tuned, but for most it would be too neutral. I found myself messing with the EQ a bit while using the 7zero. Crin did a great job tuning these things, but for regular use, most people will find them dull. Thou I want to use the 7zero more, I find myself going back to the wan'er, I just love the sound. One thing I wish I could do is swap the cables to the wan'er. When I tried using the 7zero's cable, which I like better because of the straight tip and shorter length, I realized the Wan'er has a recessed housing and a notch where the cables enter. Im not entirely sure which cables I can buy for them because I'm not a big fan of the L shape tip, that and they are a bit tangle prone. But can't complain as far as sound. They are great.
Thanks for your thoughts! Yes the apple does perform well but especially planar iems like more power. I think even if you aren’t maxing them out sometimes more power will give you a better sound. Here’s the style cable I think you need, pretty sure it isn’t proprietary so you can look at other options too Linsoul Tripowin Zonie 16 Core Silver Plated Cable SPC Earphone Cable for KZ ZSX, ZSN Pro, ZS10 Pro NF2u, QDC IEMs (QDC-3.5mm, Gold) a.co/d/d4fjyq9 I’ve got this one and it’s great.
It's great iem for price But It got KZ cable shell and driver also from kz EdX Ultra KZ definitely owns CCA 7hz QKZ KSBEAR Theaudio SGOR Tungzu etc etc They are made in same factory They are all KZ if you notice the cable box printing shells driver These are made in same factory and distributed around in market
I've got the CCA CRA- the newer sets are tuned much better. I think it's worth the upgrade. If you like a little more sizzle in the high end do the Wan'er, if you like it a little smoother the qkz hbb is excellent as well. They're very similar but they're both really good.
Cra sounds better than waner in every track But one thing cra gets very harsh on ears it strikes like metal in some intense tracks or games Maybe that 5khz peek causing it It sounds good for first time but as you listen it get harsher on ears
I brought Tangzu wan er today. And I found out that left side has lower bass then the other side is it normal or is it a problem? And in the box manual it’s says channel difference 1dB(1kHz). So i wanna know is it normal?
@@cravatenoire3269 it really depends, different iems are good at different things. If you let me know what you’re going to use them for and what you like sound profile wise I’ll try to help.
@@hackinghifi4247 heres how i got here: wanted budget tws with DOLBY ATMOS for my galaxy. heard DOLBY is basically a gimmick on low ends in market. so turned to IEMs. Hoping for Sound stage, imaging, layering, details, etc to compensate the DOBLY. at least AMAP. my use: Watching movies, Music while motor biking and after i use it enough to connect it with a pair of bluetooth IEM Earhookes to use it during work out.
