It's more than just the anti-casual role. It's the anti-fun role. I would definitely consider myself to be more than a casual player, but despite having several tanks that I absolutely love I pretty much never touch the role. I can't wait for them to bring back 6v6 tests, because I will play the absolute living f out of JQ.
@@dravenbluesummers Ngl i didnt expected you to change it, as i said i wasn't even sure. Good to see people caring for that. Before when i let someone know they always started hate speech and straight up started attacking me when i just nicely told them about it
Tanks just feel like shit to a majority of players because there's no real satisfying gameplay loop. Dps - Do damage to enemies Support/Healer - Heal damage done to allies Tank - Absorb damage and provide mitigation Support/dps have clear indicators of you doing good, widow headshot, junkrat combos, Ana's satisfying hissing noise when healing, mercy managing allied healthbars. What do tanks have? Reins standing there to shield damage? Orisa fortifying to stop cc/crits? Tanks jobs are entirely important but there's really nothing satisfying about being a damage sponge, you have to be so into games that you want to actually be a tank, casuals suck at the role due to no clear gameplay loop and that's if they even want to play it in the first place.
