This is one of the best dechtechs I have ever seen. I was thinking of building a birb tribal derevi cause stax is no fun in casual but this is just perfect. And it's even thematic without having every wbg staple in it. I am definetely going to go for this playstyle with it. Thanks a lot.
Is there a chance you will do a yurlok of scorch thrash been interested in building him. Been looking at Derevi as well and this build looks really fun keep it up.
I'm not sure tbh. I've been struggling with time making videos lately so I'm doing my best getting out what I can 🙂 That could be included, but honestly Derevi does all that in the command zone and I'd rather include another piece that doesn't fulfill the roleof utility.
Utopia sprawl is great, i just dont know if we have access to a forest frequently enough to justify running it. Because I like the challenge of including synergistic interaction. In some cases, like DismissI Into Dreams (showcased in our recent gameplay video), the repeatable nature of it can be the reason we win the game. In addition, the metas Iplay in don't run much fast mana or tutors, so we have the time to use these types of cards 🙂
@@casual_commander I do get that with the interesting and synergistic interaction. I run lux cannon in a proliferate deck. My playgroup is just really sweaty sometimes and running a blue deck without a single counterspell is a death sentence against them. We don't run any fast mana and not many tutors and not many infinites. But strong interaction pieces (like free counterspells etc). I love the list and your other deck techs! Always some nice/unique commanderchoices-brews. Keep em coming. I also love how you divide it by interaction/carddraw/ramp etc. I think Utopia Sprawl is worth running, you have so many fetches and even duallands you can reliably get a forest. Fertile Ground could also be an option. Or Gilded Lotus. Haven't played the list yet tough. Maybe also instead of mirror entity pump you could run beastmaster ascension- It triggers easily with all the small tokens you have (that alreaey have evasion). +5/+5 should mostly be enough. Mirror entity has the possibility to be higher tough if you pump mana in. Also probably not really a good include but a hilarious one would be storm herd and get 30 untaps in one turn.
@@SmeeGuitar that's fair enough, you have to adapt the list to your meta. Thanks, will do :) I'll playtest it some more to see how often I have access to a forest in my opening hand. Fertile ground and gilded lotus prob aren't necessary though, as our other cards do a better job of producing mana and honestly, after playing it a bit now mana is hardly ever our problem. I just like mirror entity here because we often have access to a lot of mana so with even a few creatures we can starting hitting opponents hard, especially with our evasive blockers. But its definitely a viable option. That's a lot of triggers lol!!!
