It’s similar to JL regulated power supply that does 1200 watts at 1.5 ohm-4 ohm. This is why my Korean 2400 watts at 1 ohm is less loud than the jL 1200 watts at 4 ohm

i have the smart 3k. its under rated for sure. the smart 5k was next on my list for upgrade. but then i heard about a brand called "slapz" and the 8k costs less than the smart 5. i really want to see a legit dyno on them!

The inly drawback on the smart 3k 5k and. Taramps in general is the dials ppl say theres no low end bass when these play down to 10 htz the subsinic dial dont turn down evenly on the sub sonic when ur turning it down lower it thrns down low but ramps the amount also as u turn i checked this on a o scope to figure this out it be best to have s ub sonic all the way down to the left and hi pass up all the way to the right and use a dsp to finetune ur crossover points dont depend on the numbers and wonbly dials on the amp.

I got a question. I got a 2022 dodge charger with the stock alternator and i got traramp smart 5k and two 12 inch zvx. I got it wired to 1omh. Im trying to figure out what size lithium battery i need to get. If you could help me i would gladly appreciate it.

How do compare this to you new suge 4000 watt amp? Im thinking get one of the 2 but wondering with one would be the better amp on less electrical output from my car.old toyota celica

These are great. I have Smart 3 and the only time I can hear the fans is when I suddenly stop the music after playing it at max volume. Also I wish the inputs were a bit larger because 0 gauge barely fits, and the manual says about like 150A fuse when really you need like 300A. Other than that the amp is amazing and pushes my sub to the limit , it was really cheap even after import fees and taxes to PL, and most important it fits inside my trunk, and there isn't much space for a korean 3k amp

i just wish there was a 20k smart version

So basically just a bigger version of the old Rockford bdcp amps. To think, Rockford figured this out almost 10 ago give er take. Steve Meade has had 8 of the 2500.1 bdcp amps I'm his Tahoe for years now

Yeah that's so one thing I just like about amplifiers or maybe about speakers. Is that the impedance? Fluctuates. If I'm playing a song in the frequency is bouncing around between 20 and 60 hertz. The impedance can be anywhere from one to. I don't know 8. Ohms So my power output can be anywhere from 10,000 to 600 watts maybe. Fosgate had their overpriced solution to that. The CP amps constant power but they weren't huge amps and they cost way too much for what they were. JL audio and some other companies did similar stuff something similar where they had good power into a range instead of a set number but again not really huge gym soon. Way too much dollar per watt. I had a friend years ago with a Tarmps in his car and it damned her burned his whole car down. Gains were set right property fused he wasn't running a half home or anything. It's just after about a year It gave up in a bad way. I'm not sure I'll ever trust a Taramps but it's cool that it gets well over 3000 at forums and a 5k

Also these don't like anything above 16v. The amp will turn off or have issues.

This is the best amp money can but the smart 3 is a beast the smart 5 is even better but the smart 8 has a huge amount of dialing back the power where the 3 k and 5k dont ive clamped 4600 watts with 1 smart 3k in a real word situation.
