This whole concert is fucking amazing. mike terrana on drums is a genius. the show is beaty & the beat. Beauty & The Beat" is something very different from your normal rock show, let alone your ordinary classical concert. It is music that is played in an unorthodox way, it is the performance of a wide range of classical music pieces and rock songs together with an orchestra and a choir. What does it contain? Well, a first CD is dedicated to classical music with immortal pieces such as: Back, Mozart, Rossini, Strauss, Puccini etc. and the second disc contains rock classics by Queen, a medley of Led Zeppelin, Nightwish and Tarja, as well as a version of the well-known Frank Sinatra classic "Fly Me To The Moon". All this combined with the orchestra and choir with more than 100 musicians on stage, a huge sound, energetic drums and Tarja's angelic voice.
Tarja is pure magic, Mike Terrano is the drummer and Holopainen is Tuomas (the magic man). Could you do The moon by Dvorak from the same concert. She really shows how fucking amazing she is with her operatic voice. The concert is Beauty and the Beast.
Your face says it all friend. She is the queen of symphonic metal. When he sings you feel that the magical is not just a story, that the stories may have some truth, that the angelic sometimes mixes between us. Thank you.
The Beat part of the double album title is due to TARJA'S previous drummer Mike Terrana who you caught a glimpse of. Must repeat this album is spectacular 💘💘💘💘💥💥
Oh my God, this is a good one. Music can't be better than this. For me this is Nightwish's most beautiful ballad and Tarjas classical voice in this performance is melting my heart every time I hear it. Thank you for the reaction.

I think "Beauty & the Beat" was actually the name of the live concert and a recording of it was released as an identically called album. Tarja did it as live collaboration with Mike Terrana (the drummer in this video). It has nothing to do with Tuomas Holopainen, except that this one song was composed and written by Holopainen. No other song by Nightwish was performed in those concerts.
When I hear her singing like that, I literally have tears in my eyes. She‘s better than she ever was. Now to your vision of a reunion: this is a dream, but I have doubts that this will ever happen. But still we are all allowed to dream. You‘re right, this would be the most spectacular thing that could happen. One word about Anette: I‘ve seen an interview with her. She was asked if she has any bad feelings towards Nightwish. She hasn‘t anymore. But no one of the band talked to her after her leaving the band ever since. Sad to hear. So a reunion with her is quite unrealistic, I think.
TARJA is way beyond that reunion jive . What for ? Her solo career is where her brilliance belongs. So vast so diverse with a new rock and Christmas album in the works, perhaps a classical one too 💘💘
True, she‘s doing so many different things nowadays. I love her solo work, her classical performances and with her band, or her Outlanders project. She has gone to other shores now. Still, a reunion for just a song or two would be the biggest thing for the fans of the first era of Nightwish. But I‘m quite sure that this won‘t happen anyway.

Yep were and are friends. There is a duet of Over the hills with both of them. Floor on stage with Tarja and her band. The mix not great sadly. Not for why you'd expect. Each of the ladies kept asking for their own mics to be lowered to not out do the other. Nightwish formed in 96. The demo was 96. Remixed, rerecorded in 97 as Angels Fall First. Tarja has been solo since 06. 8 albums with the band and 19 since leaving. 2 more announced. She has been nothing if not industrious.

I Love this version. I like the Nightwish version. It has to do with Mike on the drums. Mike is Canadian. He sings and Tarja is on the drums. She does Walking in the Air at this concert. The only band member that Tarja has seen in person is Marko?
She sang over the hills and far away this same year, 2013 at the Female Voices of Metal Festival with her good friend whom you may have heard of, by the name Floor Jansen. 😁
I don't think that will happen, but then, having both of their names (Tuomas and Tarja) on the new Crewish album is huge. I didn't think that will happen either. Anyway, she has a great career and Nightwish is doing fantastic with Floor so why opening old wounds?

Singers get better with age. You can hear there life in there voice. I'm not sure if Tarja and Anette appearing together makes sense. The two voices are very different. That can go well, or it can be a disaster. Floor can sing with both of them.
OK I need to update. Bye bye beautiful is a direct shot, the first by the band at Tarja. That is why Floor has set out as a ground rule to join the band she will NEVER sing that song. Now news is breaking the internet. Tarja and Marko one night only. July 08, 2023 in Switzerland will reunite now both former members of NightWish and 3rd time ever since she left that they'll share a stage. Tarja and Floor as single artists right now might well join forces again next year for a properly mixed performance. Maybe one song each from both of them? Now that would be awesome.❤❤
I think that rather than bringing in Tarja and Anette for a Nightwish reunion it would be easier to, say, have Anette and Floor join Tarja and her band for a performance. Or to have any combination of them singing together in a different arrangement than Nightwish. All three find themselves at the same music festivals at times anyway, so it's generally a question of are they interested in doing a joint project ("because we're all Nightwish singers" might not be the best motivation here xd).
People will not like this comment. Tarja’s singing can bring me close to tears. But Floor’s voice never ever does. P.S. Steve Nicks is my favourite female vocalist of all time ever from any genre.
The 2nd album was Twice. Tarja and ex Roadie/guest singer, now legend in his own right Tapio Wilska sang Dark Chest of Wonders on Once together. This makes twice. Tuomas did the keyboards. Done at their respective studios during the dark times.
I love Swanheart. I just hope that one day, she (or Floor) is gonna sing it not as the sparrow, but with the feelings of the ugly duckling. This is not about dreaming the stars, but about the sadness of a one-sided and secret love. Well, at least for me.

this is wishful thinking, but it will never ever happen. 2 or all Nightwish singers together on a regular Nightwish concert, and they still have to get Marco back then too. i guess it will happen that day, when christmas, eastern, new years eve and my birthday will be on one day together. if that happens, save me a ticket ;)
It's a nice idea, but really unrealistic. Tarja and Thomas don't talk, and Marco is the only one who has reconciled with her. Last year, Tarja published a book of memories and photos from her life about Nightwis. Not a word was said in the book
Maybe it’s how she gave herself closure. I was thinking about this last nigh, if they did bring the three together for one night it would just create more problems. People would want more and they would start unfounded rumours that would damage the band and people would get really mad that tarja or anette wouldn’t be back in the band fulltime
@@playagain963 Yes, for sure. Tarja herself said that the way Tuomas wanted her to sing destroyed her vocal cords, and that was why she wanted to leave. Anyway, she and Tuomas were already together as children, and Tuomas himself said they were like brother and sister. What he did to her was really ugly, burning the bridges. When Anette was released, Tarja was immediately asked by reporters if she wanted to return and if she received an offer. She herself said she wouldn't come back and Tuomas wouldn't ask her to
Well, Tarja and Toumas do email each other about business. She has stated as such. That’s it though. They, at least, are civil to each other. Both sides have said they regretted how things ended with the band.
No, Tarja and Tuomas have not made peace. It won't happen before. Tuomas struck a very, very deep wound. Tarja made peace with Marco. Neither have Anette and the band made peace. Everyone knows it would be epic to have the past NIghtwish vocalist join even for one song.
@@nicholew350 The problem is that this has not always been the case, and a lot of bad blood was created when Tarja was dismissed from Nightwish. The way in which that went was anything but professional and civil, and needlessly so. When that happened, there already was an agreement in place for Tarja to leave Nightwish, but Tuomas decided to not wait for that. That contributed to that rather ugly incident. Having civil business communications after that is one thing, but that 'incident' simply requires Tuomas to admit this was a bad way to handle that situation.
Last year was 25. I see no reason to bring in Tarja.The ending was bad, why do that? People move on. Who does that? Tarja has a career, Floor is their singer.
