Still can’t get it the fact that Tarja friendzoned tuomas. I mean he really loved her, even Marcelo said Tuomas words ‘nobody was never able to stop me loving Tarja’ this means something, the good man that loves you many years, you doesn’t care about his feelings and run to other man. Sad
@UncertainFear One of the hardest things in life to deal with is when you have a close emotional bond with a woman and fall in love with her, but you can't be with her. It's great joy and great sadness all rolled into one. If that's what happened here, then I feel for Tuomas.
I believe Tuomas was probably in love with Tarja, but it was unfortunate that Tarja was already married, so it broke his heart. Having Tarja near was probably too painful for him, and so this may have been one small factor in why he so easily agreed with the rest of the band to kick her out.

Like Tarja said, "one day all will be forgiven." These are beautiful memories and life goes on, but i hope one day Nightwish reunites again.Man they are an amazing band with Tarja. people make mistakes, but remember no one is perfect. Let them be immature, one day they'll notice it was fucked up to write a letter and kick her out. But spare this situation the agony and pain,let time heal everything.
IF they would be together, it would be the most awesum couple in the history of metal :P I mean, the combination of music is already enough: Symphonic, kinda Gothic Heavy Metal + More Metal, Classical and Opera! WHAT MORE DO YOU WANT! plus the fact that Tuomas seems a real awesome person to me :P he inspires me everytime i see him (even though i don't play keyboard, but guitar, drums and a lil' bass) :P

It's been long-rumored Tuomas was in love with Tarja. Of course, I don't know her, but just looking at her pictures and hearing her sing mesmerizes me, I don't think it's humanly possible to not fall in love while being so close to her.

Whyyyyyyyyyyyyyy they split up. They were so perfect together, the perfect combination. Nightwish always gonna be my fave band but it's not gonna be the same without Tarja, she is just perfect and powerful singer, just what Tuomas needs in his songs, just what the band needs to complement their music.
Well, her not being a team player is the band's side of the story. Tarja seemed bewildered when she heard their accusations. Also, she doesn't seem to have any bad things to say in reply. That makes me question the one side of the story. That, and the fact that the band fired her in a most unprofessional and asshole way. Am I defending her? More like I'm aware that I wasn't there and it's hard to take it all on face value.
it makes me so sad the see these 2 not together anymore after all those years together making an awsome music ,if it wasn't for the problems between them and her husband ,none of them get seperated ,they were the best couple .
I love them together... This video is amazing, it almost make me cry. Tuomas and Tarja looked so happy in these pictures... I still love them both. Because of their music, they are two important people of my life... I love you with all myself, Tuomas and Tarja!
tuomas never said he hated tajra, he didn't like the way she changed towards the end. when asked about her feelings toward the band tajra said she had forgiven them for what had happend but she will never forget.

I think that it never will be all okay again. But they all were so close at the beginning of nightwish, i hope they can be the friends again they used to be.. Without arogance and attitude.. I feal such a lamo but i cried to x] x.
I thnk their relationship was far more complicated than anyone's going to admit to being. I imagine it's been a mutually painful separation. I just know that if I was close to her, unless she was a total shrew 24/7, I'd fall for her.

Yeah maybe that was the true reason why NW has broke apart. But I belive they will soon be friends again it's just a matter of time. It's not easy to forget all sorrows and scars but this video shows they were trully friends or even more. Things like that are too expensive to forget about them

There's an older interview on RU-vid with Tarja and Tuomas back when Century Child had just released. Towards the end of it, Tarja talked about how she wanted to pursue her own dreams. She didn't study and sing classical opera for years to sing in a metal band. Despite her work with the band, it seems to me that Nightwish was getting in the way of what Tarja really wanted to do with her life. IMO, the band (not just Tuomas) firing her was merely hastening the inevitable. She will be missed.
Sure it's too sad.Always sad when friendshipe between two people is over.But the musical dimension here makes Tarja's dismiss a huge loss for every Nightwish fans... I don't think nobody could ever replace her!

actually there are proofs... when marcelo answered to fans in tarjs's website, someone asked if tuomas felt something about tarja, marcelo said that he confronted tuomas and he just said and i quote "As usual he didn't speak much, but he said to me that nobody was going to be able to stop his love for Tarja." so its all true...
Tarja is writting a song called the crying moon and its about two people who love eachother but can never be together maybe its about her and tuomas. I think she married marcelo cause he cared a lot for her I don't know if she had any other boy friend before him. maybe she married him as a mistake because he does get half of what she earns for the next ten years in her contract. So maybe she love tuomas but can't be with him because she signed that contract. so she cant even get rid of him.
Me and a friend of mine were discussing the potential that these two might have hooked up once a long time ago.... Perhaps they did, and she thought it was a mistake and decided that they needed to just remain friends. Maybe he couldn't get over that, just maybe she broke his heart? Who knows lol, it's fun to speculate though.
idk but i have read in a anette interview that the band has there big fights every so often. Also just like Tarja was anette doesn't spend that much time with the band. She is at home most of the time with her son. She only shows up for there gigs right now. I love both anette and Tarja.
Of course, he would never admit, even if it was true... Toumas is the one who will never open up before one's eyes. Maybe man and woman can be friends. But one thing doesnt prevent another, and it doesnt mean that one of them cant fall in love with his friend, especially if they spend so much time together.
That would explain everything, when Tuomas was in love with Tarja he was not abel to wright music for her after her marriage, and he was not thinking clear about her anymore. It yust might be what has happend.
hmm, his writing gives one the most clues - logical and emotional. i think trayas answer to thomas was right, because his writing was an indirect emotional letter. so the band split because they found no language to speak with each other, but this may be the reason for their good songs. really interesting will be the next two ablae, because will they make the same mistakes twice and in which direction they will develop? see 00:53 left a child, right a mature woman.

The members of Nightwish asked her to leave because they felt she had become a diva and was more concerned about the money then the music, of course there are two sides to the story. At the end of their last concert together they handed Tar a letter saying goodbye. She was heart broken and replied with her own letter, they can both be found online.
