It is obvious, they have lived a lot together since their studies, Tuomas as a composer and Tarja in classical singing. It gave me a huge shame when I found out that Tarja had been expelled from Nightwish, the worst thing of all is that despite all the shift together, of everything lived in the band, the way they addressed her was totally hurtful, and Tuomas acknowledged what happened about the expulsion of Tarja saying that "it was not an appropriate way to do it", after years without mentioning anything about what happened

@@salt27dogg I don't think they did; all the same, even before Tarja was fired from Nightwish, a lot of the songs from as far back as Angels Fall First felt as if it was about Tarja - if not, then Tuomas' muse was a singular being. I think the reason why a lot think it was about Tarja was that the general feel of Tuomas' lyricism went from nostalgic and whimsical love and turned sour and angry and spiteful when Tarja got married all the way until End of An Era.
It's just life that whomever you're close to now, is likely not going to be there the same way in the future, if at all. Sure, they can reach out and forgive each other, and I'm sure they already have internally, but it won't bring any of these moments back or resurface them. They both have entirely new lives with entirely new people, and that's okay. Let's acknowledge this was doomed the second Tarja was interested in someone else. And whether that could have been avoided had they not gone out drinking without her, or been more protective against that one fan or if Tarja should have put in more effort is kind of a pointless argument. It just shows they were at different spaces mentally. We either would have gotten another album with the band not being in unity, and then peaceful resignation, or the dumpster fire we did get lol.

Hacian una pareja muy bonita y creo que aunque parecieran de temperamentos muy diferentes en el fondo son bastante parecidos solo que una lo demuestra el otro no, he visto entrevistas donde le preguntan sobre su vida amorosa a el, y da a entender que para el no es tan importante sexo o una cara bonita es algo como de conexion y ahi empenze a creer los rumores sobre su gran amor por tarja se le veia acoplado y feliz con ella, el problema es que es un tipo hermetico y terco, y tarja que es una mujer sencible y necesitaba hechos y no solo poesia.. fue cuando entro uno mas vivo a endulzarle el entorno a su musa y que le da baje

so sad to see the break up.....tarja and nightwish............this song song bring tears to my eyes........such a shame to see Tuomas and tarja and the band break apart like this.....heartbreaking and heart wrenching to see breakup fall apart like this.......like I said before maybe someday, some how they will reconnected , get back together for the fans sake to forgive and forget but I don't think so........it will take a huge miracle to bring these guys back together again......but for now we wait and see.......
Tuomas teve muitas chances para conquistar a Tarja mas a imaturidade falou mais alto. A Tarja ficou muito magoada com ele e com os outros da banda pq nada fizeram quando um homem invadiu o palco e a molestou. A perdeu pro Marcelo pq ele foi o único que a deu apoio.
exatamente, o Marcelo esteve lá qnd mais ninguém esteve. o Tuomas era imaturo e nunca soube expressar os seus verdadeiros sentimentos de forma clara e direta. se o tivesse feito a tempo, as coisas hoje em dia poderiam ser diferentes. é claro que a tarja nunca iria ver o seu amigo de infância como um parceiro romântico, para que isso acontecesse alguém tinha que tomar iniciativa... mas existem coisas q não estão simplesmente destinadas a acontecer

Que yo sepa en Argentina no lo odian al contrario, es un tipo muy honesto que SEMPRE esta al lado de ella. En los recitales él no le pierde el ojo de encima y jamas se interpone en el encuentro de ella y sus fans. Despues de mas de 10 años Emppu dijo en el libro oficial de Nightwish que Marcelo siempre fue un tipo muy honesto que hizo muy bien su laburo e inclusive le echo tierra a los borrachos de representantes que tienen ahora ellos. Solo basta con prestar atención para darse cuenta que el bardo no es amoroso ( quiza algo sentimental) pero los representantes actuales de Nightwish la re cagaron.
Con la canción y las fotos me hizo agarrar una depresión :v En fin, muchos comentarios son súper herrados, lo que creo yo es que Tuomas ponía sus sentimientos en canciones pero no las ponía en práctica en la vida real, vino otro que supo cómo hacerla sentir bien de verdad y obviamente que se quedó con el, todo es echos en la vida, me parece lo más común la decisión de tarja de salir con Marcelo, el supo cuidarla, Tuomas no (eso que soy team Tuomas) pero las cosas las tendría que haber hecho diferente .
Verdadero amor que no se ve todos los días... eran la pareja perfecta, quizá en algún momento tuvieron una relación, nunca se sabe. Ahora, da pena ver cada imagen, sabiendo como termino todo, como un amor tan intenso murió antes de nacer...
I would say that it's the interpretation of whoever made them. They don't strike me as a couple, but rather as great personal friends for a very long time that prolly shared many memories of growing up together.

She is not his muse .... she is not the true love of his life. And we all now that.... greatest and true loves never ending together!!!
when he grows very old. like 60+ he will admit in some written form, memories, that he was wrong, he should have fought for her love, not act childish and offended. He was 1 or 2 steps distance from her affection, he had all chances... but he made wrong conclusion and wrong choice, he acted as bitter child... and Tarja, what a woman, she was worth any sacrifice any heroic deed, she was worth fighting for, how he gave up, i canmt understand...
yeah, don't see that happening. after reuniting with Marco last year she said she was happy to have her friend back, but when asked about Tuomas, she wouldn't answer. Besides, supposing to be her best friend, he should have supported her and her marriage, which is still going strong, where they both seem very happy still

Yo creo que si anduvieron, Tuomas le dedicaba canciones de forma indirecta a Tarja, como Ever dream por ejemplo. En fin, Tuomas se emputo porque Tarja lo rechazo y comenzó a salir con otra persona, y por eso la echaron de la banda.

A mi no me engañan el toumas estaba bien enamorado de tarja pero le faltó valor para hablarle de sus sentimientos, se ve feliz al lado de ella y le dolió que se enamorara de Marcelo y creo que por eso se volvió bien tóxico hasta con anette 😢
No they were not. Tuomas maybe loved her who knows but they never were together as far as anyone knows. I guess the only ones who really know are the tai themselves
