Super metroid has always been the shit . not only am i impressed with this hack, the gameplay was damn impressive but also had me like WTF almost the entire time. Well done, dude.
Someone still had to draft up the inputs for the program to play back, whether by playing the game frame by frame or lua scripting. Which takes months at the very least.
its one thing to use ghetto jumps (which I am against) to advance your play a bit but when you step outside the freaking game to access an item otherwise unobtainable, and it's an expansion for an upgrade you don't even have...you sir have lost my interest. Kindly write Hack-run or include sequence breaks somewhere in this video info.
@@Dyceron THe missile at 26:58 I cannot figure out how to get I managed to go through to the one floor above the missile and get stuck but I dunno how to repeat the maneuver without going through another screen to build up speed again. Also I cannot figure out how you are supposed to normally get this missile there is nowhere to charge up a boost.
I may be remembering wrong(or thinking of the wrong game) but I think you could boost in ball form just not pick up speed as a ball. I might be thinking of Zero or Fusion though.
