Tekken 5 Lore King vs Marduk interaction "So, you showed up!" "I've changed my ways, I'll take you down fair & square." After the fight "You Win.." King offers his hand to Marduk and the two become great wrestling partners. Marduk makes his way to his locker room when a mysterious figure ambushes him and knocks Marduk out wearing the black jaguar mask before disappearing. Armor King II vs Marduk Interaction "What?" "I don't know who you are, but you'll pay for messing with me! After the fight "Who the hell are you?" Armor King punt kicks Marduk knocking him out and leaves. Note: In Marduk's Tekken 6 prologue it says he was attacked while in the Locker room but the Tekken 5: Dark Resurection interlude occurs in Ghetto Pit which is a revamped version of Vanilla Tekken 5 Underground which is where King & Marduk fought at to settle their score. If I made any mistakes writing this, let me know & i'll fix it later on.
Nah, you pretty much got it together. In fact, this was the arc they went with and it completely gave his character more depth in an instant. Showing that Marduk wasn't going around just destroying his opponents because he's crazy. At some point, Marduk was an esteemed PROFESSIONAL Vale Tudo fighter. It wasn't until after his scandal that barred him from fighting and, essentially, ruined his reputation did he enter and angry stupor of resent towards others and became violent. Let's not forget he did spend 2 years in the pen for killing a man in a bar. Spending time in prison when you're already angry definitely exacerbated his ferocious demeanor. The death of Armor King was not planned or calculated, just a misfortunate coincidence that they would meet and it got AK killed is all. When Marduk comes to King to fight fair and square, therein lies more of that honor he has deep down alongside is admit to defeat at his rival now friend. King winning a second time (In the fgc that would be best 2 out of 3 btw), was not out a need to prove anything and Craig (I'd like to believe) understood that while fighting King and ultimately losing once again "snapped" him out of whatever he was going through. Craig wasn't in his right mind after the scandal and it took a strong hand to knock some sense back into him. However, AK2 still had a bone to pick with him and that whole arc was awesome as well. To think, if they went with Marduk's ending as Canon, there would have been a Craig/Steve rivalry and Anna might have a kid with him (assuming things went as I think they did after he won their fight O.O). His character would just be another big crazy Psycho in the roster who's just flaunting strength to deal with an insecurity, BORING! The Marduk we have now is awesome and I'm glad they went with King's win over Marduk and not the other way around. Too bad they scraped all that awesome character building in T7 though. So many questions left unanswered and a bunch of new characters that weren't properly given any depth. So sad imo. But nonetheless, the Marduk/King2/AKing2 side story was pretty cool up until now. Here's hoping it's expanded upon in a future title.
In almost every video of yours I see a move that I've never seen before in the games. This time it was King's sprawl at 7:13 to stop the takedown. So cool.
I always wondered why in the flaming dojo stage instead of waste time fighting why they don't find the way to get the hell out of there they could die intoxicated or burned in 10 seconds
I liked his “Name’s Marduk, don’t you forget it!” victory pose as well as his voice better in Tekken 4. Don’t really understand why they needed to add the extra animation to it in this one
@@christophermartin6614 oh yes, that was funny, as they like to play with the xd perspective, and that is not the first time they do that, true ogre was much bigger in the tekken tag 2 and marduk trailers in tekken 5 it showed with more musculature
Would be much more interesting if both Anna and Craig were in tekken 8 and continue their story from where they stopped 😂 tekken 5 was the shit! Tekken 6 is when the story went down hill.
I'm not much to use Marduk, but I was interested in his story and I am struck by the turn I took, with the revelation of armor king, hopefully and give him a conclusion and do not be forgotten
Oof. That part where Craig knocks Anna out then kidnaps her is not gonna look well on Craig's public image. His social media team is probably like, "We here appoligize for the actions our client has taken towards Ms. Williams and are willing to work towards a resolve." Meanwhile... Oh, so that's why she wasn't in the initial roster for T7. XD
Those talking about character development going out the window, wasn't Marduk respected in his style of fighting before goung to jail? And then sort of humbled upon leaving jail? Now he's practically killing everyone
just imagine the damage marduk can do to someone with his size and those moves irl. straight bare handed murder also: I LUV U MAINA, MY TEKKEN WAIFU!!!!
I had a doubt, how much time passed after the death of the original armor king, and who was the one who trained king 2? Was the brother of Armor King or was it the original?
Well I mean they took out his ability to just keep getting guaranteed combo resets to 100-0 people with one juggle, so ya of course they're better than t7 Marduk
0:03 - 0:07 Takes literally 4 seconds to go to OPTIONS, change the video mode display, and choose Marduk. Then peacefully watches the 45-second prologue. Doesn't even go hit "Next" when the narrator's done reading. 😂
